Torture is okay....killing is okay....they did it in the bible. What cowards you are to hide behind your religion when it comes to your own wrongs (especially since these wrongs, in particular, affect us all) and yet you have the gall to point fingers at others who would try to right these wrongs.

- I quit smoking (he never did - people don't want a president that smokes so that is what he told people during his campaign)
- My father was a goatherder (his father was a privalaged well-educated youth who worked with the Kenyan Government).
- My father was a proud freedom fighter (his father was part of one of the most corrupt and violent governments in Kenya).
- I never practiced Islam (he practiced it daily at his school in Indonesia where he was registered as a Muslim and kept that faith for 31 years until Michelle made him change it before running for office).
- My school in Indonesia was a Christian school (his school was Muslim and he was registered as Muslim and he even says in his book he got in trouble for making faces during Koranic studies).
- I was born in Hawaii (he was born in Kenya in a room with his grandmother, sister, and brother were there to witness the birth).
- I wrote a tough nuclear bill (his bill was rejected by his own democrat party).
- I am tough on Terrorism (he missed the Iran resolution vote on terrorism and his good friend Ali Abunimah supports the destruction of Islam).
- I don't have Lobbyists (he has over 47 Lobbyist and still counting)
- I inspire people with my words (he inspires people with other people's words).
I'l stop there. Plenty more though.

I read that the Obamas are reimbursing the government -
The article I read said that they would be reimbursing the government for the cost to fly commercial and for the travel and expenses that were incurred as personal expenses.

I was surprised because Bill is usually tough and takes his guests to task.
From my take, there was no denigrating of his nephew's service anymore than anyone else who speaks out against the war. Bill was the one who brought up his nephew's service and threw a fit about it as if his nephew was being singled out by Donahue when he said have your (Bills) children go fight in this illegal war.
I think Bill was just all shook up from being called Billy and Donahue screaming as loud as he was. That part was a joke to me. Thought they were going to bring out the boxing gloves and start round 2. Still LMBO about that.

In a magazine interview Obama and his wife Michelle revealed that one of their steadfast house rules is not giving Christmas or birthday presents to Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7.
The couple explained that they spend "hundreds" on birthday slumber parties and want to "teach some limits". Santa Claus is still permitted to deliver seasonal gifts however.

I agree Saddam is scum, but the sanctions, and military pressure during the 80's and 90's and pretty much strapped him. Did he need to be taken out, WELL DUH, YEAH. I just argue the fact that 1) it is not our responsibility. If the people were too afraid to rise against him how can they stand on their own? That is being evidenced with the training of the Iraqi police and Iraqi military. 2) Was this the way to do it? An all out occupation. That country is at the brink of a civil war.
