So What!

What's the big deal with Palin?  She is a working mom (like so many of us) and more than likely the main source of income in her household.  She has older children and a husband who can help out with the daycare needs of the younger children. 

Her teenage daughter is pregnant (a lot of teens are) and just because one's religious belief encourages abstinence, it just doesn't mean that will always happen.  

Her experience?  Well, she has more political experience than Obama does on a one-on-one basis as mayor and govenor of Alaska.  Furthermore, she is not running for PRESIDENT like Obama is.  Hillary Clinton had much more experience than Obama, Biden, and Palin combined, but she didn't get the delegates, just the popular vote. 

So, you see, none of this really matters in the whole of things.  Whoever gets elected has a BIG MESS to clean up and a lot of work ahead of them.  Whether it is a straight Democrat or Republican/Democrat (McCain).  The Congress and Senate need to agree to disaggree and get things going in the right direction again on a bi-partisan level, regardless of who is elected for President/Vice President.
