Stephen Colbert
Anyone watch the show Thursday?  He had Hillary, Edwards and Obama, but I have to say, Edwards was fantastic.  His segment that night was hilarious and entertaining.
I like Stephen Colbert's attitude. He said concerning the remarks about colors: "That was th
Dr. Seuss book ever!"  We take ourselves so seriously.  Someone is always going to be offended.
It was definitely Stephen. Ask him yourself.

His email can be found at http://www.democratictalkradio.com/.  It would be very easy to find if they had taken the time to research it as I did.  All they have to do is write and ask him to verify that he posted on this site because I'm being accused of using his name.  Of course, the result of such an inquiry would provide the TRUTH, and false accusations are a much more productive tool in their playbook.

A little info PK, or should I say *Stephen*
Your...his post was deleted because they were accompanied by profanity. The usual left spin machine is in full swing here.

If you simply follow the rules and don't curse people you will find your posts have true staying power.

Was a Colbert fan before
the dinner speech.  I wondered if the rightwing knew what they were getting, or if they just picked him because they heard he was funny.  Did they watch of any his TV shows?  They got what they asked for, and I for one, was rooting him on!  What else was there for Colbert to talk about? The whole Bush era has been horrendous for at least 65 percent of the American people.  The other 35 percent just have not been touched by his bumbling, arrogant, outrageous administration.  As someone mentioned above in this thread, the people were actually laughing, then snickering.  Seem to me they were afraid to laugh out loud because the gustapo might get them later... my take on it... but it was FUNNY stuff.  Wish they would rerun it!!!
LOL; did you see Colbert too?

Stephen or not, his facts were straight.sm
Free speech is very American, threatening to see people punished for free speech is un-American.
I think you are thinking of Stephen Baldwin .....sm
Chuck Baldwin is a founder and minister of a church in Pensacola, Florida. He ran for VP in 2004 on the Constitutional Party, but I think that is the limit of his political dablings. He is also a radio talk show host (I know I'm going to get flamed for that one!) But the beauty of it all is that he has no dirty laundry to air, no skeletons in the closet, no "agendas" and no axes to grind. He is just plain, down-to-earth and probably EXACTLY what this country needs.
Never heard of Stephen Hawkins

friend of yours?  Brother of Sadie Hawkins?

Stephen Hawking I've heard of.  (Come to think of it, he talks with help of from a machine too.  Hmmm.....you may be onto something there.)

The Colbert clip is funny...sm
But senator Allen's track record with minorities is not :-(

Imagine being black and in Alabama. Confederate flags are flying proudly over houses, on cars, etc. I've lived and learned through *my white friends* (pun intended :) and realize that to some people this represents a part of their history, but it also represents a part of my history that does not allow me to see any honor in the flag.

Allen to me is not just one of those attempting to honor his ansestors. He also had a noose in his office, a noose. I'm not sure a person can, as he said, *grow* out of that kind of hatred.

It was the truth & I admire Colbert's guts. sm
Typical neo-conservative, do not like the message shoot the messenger. Colbert said what MOST of us think, but are afraid to say. The looks on their faces were priceless.
Colbert White House Correspondents' Dinner sm

Did anyone else see this?  Thank you Colbert, I am now a fan.

Colbert Report: Senator Allen and His Ethnic Friends

This is sooooo funny.  When I first saw the clip of Allen's Macaca comment, I actually emailed the Colbert Report and wrote, **Help.  Senator Allen needs Stephen's help in getting some new ethnic friends** because this true story reminded me so much of the comedic segments on the Colbert Report regarding Stephen's search for a new **black friend.**  I think they call this life imitating art!  LoL!
