Unfortunately, I think Teddy (and some others) bring it on themselves, and enjoy the attention it brings, by the use of hateful speech and inflammatory rhetoric with very little substance. But that is just me. Why she thinks I am the spawn of the devil I have no idea, but I am certainly in her crosshairs.
That aside, the remark about derogatroy about W...it is my understanding that the moderator said a sitting President of the United States. I would hope that that would be ANY sitting president of the United States...especially in a time of war. I would respect that on this board if Bill Clinton was still President or if a Democrat is elected in 08. If Bill Clinton was President right now and he is the one who had sent the troops to Iraq, I would still be supporting the troops and the mission because it is not about Bill Clinton or George Bush or anyone else..it is about the troops, how THEY feel, and what THEY think, and what THEY are fighting for. I really don't give a darn what Hillary thinks or Dick Cheney thinks or any other political figures. I care about the men and women in the military and I support them...in their honor, doing their duty, for love of their country. It does not come down to how a person personally feels about what put them there, whether they think it is a good cause or a bad one...to me it is about the troops. Just so we are clear on that.
