That's like starting a forum for pet lovers

And then saying they can only talk about pets they don't have any more, not their current ones!  Or a car enthusiasts forum where people can only speak of vehicles they used to own, not what they currently drive. 

What's the point in this forum, then, to only talk about the future or the past, not the present?  How ridiculous!

more like a place for a few reasonable posters from each side and one poster who does not give opinions but responds to nearly every post with a wordy, judgmental, and oftentimes incomprehensible mish-mash of distortions, innuendo, and self-congratulatory statements. Give her a break folks.  She always uses the same moniker (except when she is defending her own statement with a different moniker) so she is easy to open/close or skip over.

Remember - every village has one.  Maybe she is the one missing from Texas.

I just realized that participating in a forum is the most frustrating thing one can do.  One can never win, only lose.

Look, how GP is now treated by many of you.  I think she is a very nice, eloquent lady, whose comments I really enjoy to read, no matter how long they are.  And I do not like long posts, in general.

Obama represents to democrats an upstanding individual who we believe will be able to bring about a more efficient government and restore credibility to the nation (among other things).  We hope this can be accomplished.  However, when even the slightest hint of a rumor comes along (nevermind the source), you guys are all over it acting like it's true before any facts at all have surfaced.  Because dems defend against this constant tirade of rabid pubs, we are automatically called O worshipers?  Actually, in this case we were called O worshipers in the original post...LOL.

respectful.  I don't care what your political affiliation is.  This board has gotten quite foul and I will start banning people from posting if the tone doesn't change.  There is nothing wrong with posting in a respectful and kind manner.  If you don't like the President, fine, but do not post slurs on this forum about the President and do not post hate America posts.  If these simple requests are too much to bear then go post somewhere else.

and what I saw was that when asked the question when is someone rich?  He was unprepared to answer.  He was off his talking points and tried to answer it.  To him, one has to make 5 mil a year to be considered rich.  He realized quickly what a boner he had made, smiled and said that would become a joke.  The joke is how many people still consider repubs to be concerned with anyone but the wealthy.  They are it rich; you should be too. If you are not, you are on your own.

This just coming out.........former Obama staffer (while working with Obama) now coming out that he sat in a meeting with an Islamic organization in Virginia back in September, in which Mr. Asbahi was present, Obama's liason.  Now that man alone has a very close relationship with Islamic organizations and it just keeps getting deeper.  This Islamic organization has ties with terrorists organizations to include CAIR who was also listed as a coconspirator in terror related groups. 

It just keeps getting more interesting.  For those that doesn't know who Asbahi is, you need to keep your eyes wide open.  Obama is knee deep involved with Muslim and Islamic organizations, even though he has made a point of using his liasons, who are mostly Muslim, to do so now that he is running for President.

you're a blind dem. The aboe poster stated his/her thoughts and most of them are true to form. If you don't belive in your country, you are not patriotic. Just because some of us don't believe O is going to do a good job is not a reason to call someone a loon.

I decided, after he was elected, to give him a chance, bvut all I can see is that he is digging us deeper in the hole. I though the bill passed the other day would help some people who were in deep trouble even though they did everything right, would get help...but, again, O is just helping the people who really didn't deserve help. I think you should wake up and start reading a bit more and/or listening a bit more to those who know what is really going on in this country.

A bit of advice... if you have any money in your bank over $100K, you best get it out of there. Although the FDIC is promising a guarantee up to $250K temporarily, the money will not be guaranteed if the country goes broke IMHO.

a needless war and trying to drag Europe into it?  Showing pics of soldiers graves does nothing but bring to mind the effects of waging this unjust war.  How about apologizing for not doing something about our economy until it was too late (which affected the whole world)?
