Incidentally, some of the uninsured are voluntary uninsureds - for instance, young people who opt not to take insurance at their jobs because they have no health problems, ignore the possibility of a catastrophic event, and don't want to pay their portion of the premiums. I hope you don't suggest that we should pay for their insurance.
