There is no such a candidate named McPalin. If so can you tell me what his first name is. Euphemism smeuphemism...there is no such person. Tired of hearing it. Do you hear us saying Obiden, or Obamaden? I would follow your advice if I were you - do try to read a little more.

Someone shoots McCain/Palin's Straight Talk Bus...

EXCLUSIVE: .22 Gunshot, paint balls fired at McCain / Palin Straight Talk Express
October 19th, 2008

(Sunday, October 19 - Filed by Mark Williams in Raton, New Mexico with the Stop Obama Tour) We learned at this morning’s Stop Obama Rally here that the McCain/Palin Straight Talk Express came through town yesterday. It arrived with a window shattered by a .22 caliber weapon. It had also been hit by an unknown number of paint balls from a paint ball gun or guns. There were reportedly no injuries and neither candidate was on board.

One local man who saw the damage and spoke with the McCain/Palin staffers said the attack(s) had occured in southern New Mexico that same day. The Express is traveling the country independent of the candidates, handing out campaign materials.

Sarah Palin is stumping in of all places Roswell, New Mexico today and then roughly back the way we came with an event at the Henderson, Nevada Pavilion tomorrow and a stop in Elko, Nevada.

Vote McCain and Palin! -oh and why does Palin
nm
Me Too -Go McCain and Palin!
nm
Go McCAIN and PALIN!
nm
And McCain/Palin's could be
;D
McCain and Palin.......
No, I was talkig about "I'll help the poor, needy, and uneducated" Obama. That man is clueless as to what keeps most people poor, and I am NOT talking about those who really try and have fallen on hard times for reasons beyond their control.

I'm talking about the lazy souls that Obama knows will vote for him because they know he will continue the social programs, the free handouts, which will only continue to keep them poor and feeling entitled, with no motivation to do anything else for themselves. He talks a big talk like throwing more money at those kids is going to help their situation. He needs to get with the program...more money won't do a thing to help educate those children. Taking them from parents who are worthless might though, then the child might actually be able to make something of themselves and won't feel entitled and be fooled into those Obama scare tactics of how they NEED the government to take care of them. You better believe, millions will vote for him because they are afraid their monthly check might stop.
McCain/Palin
I think Sarah Palin has a backbone and is very bright. I would much rather see her as president if something happened to McCain than Obama's pick for VP.  Now, there you would have some trouble.  Personally, the only thing that scares me about Obama, is his wife.  She is a shark and cannot be trusted.  Of course, none of them REALLY can be trusted.  I am just stating my opinion.
McCain/Palin
McCain/Palin
This is why I believe McCain/Palin will win
There are too many "changes" to his plans. His campaign motto is A Change we can believe in. How can we believe in it when he keeps changing it. He's saying and doing anything to get elected and people are gullible enough to believe it. I agree with above posters too.
If McCain/Palin win this election,

another catastrophic attack on US citizens happening not soon after.  The rest of the world won't take another GOP leader in the White House lightly, especially our enemies.  Hopes for a more peaceful world will be dashed, and you just KNOW that certain parts of the country are going to have what they consider a perfect excuse for another WTC-like attack.

Ladies, this election is far too important to the US and the rest of the world to be voting GENDER.  As much as I would love to see a woman in the White House, this is the WRONG WOMAN, and most definitely the WRONG MAN.

We have already begun a downward slide in wealth, power & credibility, and other, much larger nations are on their way up.  The warmonger currently in the White House, and those who aspire to follow, should realize that it's no longer so inconceivable that the next major war could end up being fought on OUR soil.

I agree that if McCain/Palin win this one,
Big-time.
I'm a McCain/Palin supporter, sm
And I think it's pretty silly to be focused on this so late in the game. I for one, am a woman and a republican (sigh and a poor one at that) and I for one don't think Obama was calling Palin a "pig", it was just his choice of phrases. Many have used it before.
Yeah, Go McCain and Palin! :)
nm
McCain and Palin supporters
feel the Obama supporters are making a mistake.  However, we would not say that we deserve the downfall that will happen with Obama in office.  No one deserves that even if you are stupid enough to vote for him!
It is a combo of McCain and Palin, get it? nm
.
Anyone who hates McCain & Palin would think that
Unfortunately it is not true.
McCain/Palin - where's the beef?

McCain/Palin is my ticket

Isn't anybody on our board a Republican besides me?    I'm disappointed that McCain didn't start getting tough earlier in his campaign.  He doesn't have the charisma and speaking style that Obama has, but I believe that he has what it takes to lead our country.  I also think President Bush has done an excellent job.

Oh, okay, McCain and Palin are not moral, but
nm
If McCain/Palin win...heaven help us all! (nm)
:(
Me too, and this Independent is voting McCain-Palin.
Was before the speech. Nothing changed. What is great about her is that she is everyperson. You can see her as your neighbor, chatting across the breakfast table. Regular people can identify with her. She is not a member of the "Washington cocktail circuit." She has been there, done that. She is a true reformer...thinks that politicians should not have planes, chefs and chaffeurs on the people's dime. I am tired of elitist politics as usual. I think she will have a very positive effect on Washington.

That being said, she is the #2. McCain has it hands down as far as national security is concerned. He won't tax us into oblivion, which will not help the economy, it will just make it worse. You cannot continue to put ALL the tax burden on the people who provide most of the jobs in this country. That makes absolutely no sense.

He has what she lacks; she has what he lacks. Win-win.

Definitely voting McCain-Palin. THAT is the change you can believe in.
Palin and McCain's Shotgun Marriage
http://www.truthout.org/article/palin-and-mccains-shotgun-marriage
Who is running for President - McCain or Palin?

Since Palin has come on the scene, she has been out front at every campaign stop.  It seems as if she is running for President while McCain remains in the background and just applauds her. I don't think I've seen him open a campaign speech since her appointment.  I wonder if this was intentional.  Did they need to get him out of the spotlight or did she just take over?

I think McCain/Palin would be even WORSE than Bush!
^
McCain and Palin take buses to many of their rallies....
Obama flies. So much for energy savings. I think flying everywhere takes more resources than a tanning bed. Good grief. LOL.
If they McCain-Palin do win, I will keep the sign in the yard....
however if Obama wins, I already have my "Don't blame me, I didn't vote for him" sign ready to go up. I suspect I will need it really soon. lol.
If the McCain-Palin ticket wins...sm
the actuarial tables say McCain has 1 in 5 chance of dying in office and Palin becoming president.  Oh, no, Mr. Bill ! !
Are you referring to McCain and Palin inside
he going to go in that poor child's home every day and tell their momma to get her butt home from the whorehouse and the bar and take care of her children? He gonna tell their daddy to get off his sorry lazy butt and take care of his children and stop knocking up every girl he can?
McCain has 2 gimmicks Palin and Joe the Plumber sm
Joe is not even licensed and he makes $40K a year. He will benefit under Barack's plan but he is such a redneck he is brainwashed and probably watches Fox. He was not just discovered either.
If McCain/Palin win, Heaven has answered my

Palin has "hurt" McCain only because the liberals

There was just an interview on CNBC with both McCain and Palin

They also want to rein in spending. They will be looking at all the government agencies and seeing where there can be cutbacks. Pork Barrel spending will be frozen.

There will be more on their plans throughout the evening on CNBC. I will be watching.

I thought McCain and Palin wanted

I see a change with O, but I am afraid it is just going to get worse.  No more freedom.  Just people who are in charge of things and still a me, me, me attitude.

Thank you Sarah Palin & Team McCain

Obama has more threats than other presidents-elect
By EILEEN SULLIVAN, Associated Press Writer Eileen Sullivan, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON – Threats against a new president historically spike right after an election, but from Maine to Idaho law enforcement officials are seeing more against Barack Obama than ever before. The Secret Service would not comment or provide the number of cases they are investigating. But since the Nov. 4 election, law enforcement officials have seen more potentially threatening writings, Internet postings and other activity directed at Obama than has been seen with any past president-elect, said officials aware of the situation who spoke on condition of anonymity because the issue of a president's security is so sensitive.

Earlier this week, the Secret Service looked into the case of a sign posted on a tree in Vay, Idaho, with Obama's name and the offer of a "free public hanging." In North Carolina, civil rights officials complained of threatening racist graffiti targeting Obama found in a tunnel near the North Carolina State University campus.

And in a Maine convenience store, an Associated Press reporter saw a sign inviting customers to join a betting pool on when Obama might fall victim to an assassin. The sign solicited $1 entries into "The Osama Obama Shotgun Pool," saying the money would go to the person picking the date closest to when Obama was attacked. "Let's hope we have a winner," said the sign, since taken down.

In the security world, anything "new" can trigger hostility, said Joseph Funk, a former Secret Service agent-turned security consultant who oversaw a private protection detail for Obama before the Secret Service began guarding the candidate in early 2007.

Obama, of course, will be the country's first black president, and Funk said that new element, not just race itself, is probably responsible for a spike in anti-Obama postings and activity. "Anytime you're going to have something that's new, you're going to have increased chatter," he said.

The Secret Service also has cautioned the public not to assume that any threats against Obama are due to racism.

The service investigates threats in a wide range. There are "stated threats" and equally dangerous or lesser incidents considered of "unusual interest" — such as people motivated by obsessions or infatuations or lower-level gestures such as effigies of a candidate or an elected president. The service has said it does not have the luxury of discounting anything until agents have investigated the potential danger.

Racially tinged graffiti — not necessarily directed at Obama — also has emerged in numerous reports across the nation since Election Day, prompting at least one news conference by a local chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People in Georgia.

A law enforcement official who also spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak publicly said that during the campaign there was a spike in anti-Obama rhetoric on the Internet — "a lot of ranting and raving with no capability, credibility or specificity to it."

There were two threatening cases with racial overtones:

• In Denver, a group of men with guns and bulletproof vests made racist threats against Obama and sparked fears of an assassination plot during the Democratic National Convention in August.

• Just before the election, two skinheads in Tennessee were charged with plotting to behead blacks across the country and assassinate Obama while wearing white top hats and tuxedos.

In both cases, authorities determined the men were not capable of carrying out their plots.

In Milwaukee, police officials found a poster of Obama with a bullet going toward his head — discovered on a table in a police station.

Chatter among white supremacists on the Internet has increased throughout the campaign and since Election Day.

One of the most popular white supremacist Web sites got more than 2,000 new members the day after the election, compared with 91 new members on Election Day, according to an AP count. The site, stormfront.org, was temporarily off-line Nov. 5 because of the overwhelming amount of activity it received after Election Day. On Saturday, one Stormfront poster, identified as Dalderian Germanicus, of North Las Vegas, said, "I want the SOB laid out in a box to see how 'messiahs' come to rest. God has abandoned us, this country is doomed."

It is not surprising that a black president would galvanize the white supremacist movement, said Mark Potok, director of the Southern Poverty Law Center, who studies the white supremacy movement.

"The overwhelming flavor of the white supremacist world is a mix of desperation, confusion and hoping that this will somehow turn into a good thing for them," Potok said. He said hate groups have been on the rise in the past seven years because of a common concern about immigration.

Voting for McCain-Palin. Not reading any more hate
nm
I would only consider myself totally insane if I voted for McCain/Palin!
How about you? By the way, no need to feel sorry for me, I live at the beach, have a loving husband, lots of friends, a good job, and a great life. I also look forward to a bright future for the United States with President Obama.
I want to live in a free country - I'm for McCain/Palin
If I want a socialist country I will go with Obama/Biden.
If the McCain/Palin ticket has any chance of winning...sm
the election, they need to about face, stop the negativity, stop talking about Obama, and tell the American people how life would be better if he were elected president.  If he doesn't, he does not have a chance. John McCain needs to stop pandering to the religious right and go back to the maverick that he used to be, representing middle America.
October 9 after Palin and McCain called him a terrorist
someone yelled out 'kill him' but of course McCain's people say they cannot be sure if it was towards Ayers (spelling?)or Obama.

Palin is exhibit A of McCain's poor judgment
he is not presidential material
Who cares what Palin, McCain, Obama, or Biden
all the cheating and lying going on in the O camp and 'ole Biden stabbing his running mate in the back isn't a good sign at all. But, no surprise there. Biden had said very early on he didn't care for Obama and that he would like to be McCain's running mate. Can't twist that one no matter how you try.

I'll always know Biden isn't so easily fooled by Obama either but just looking for a foot in the door of the White House to run in four years.

I don;'t think McCain/Palin are the ones winning by hook or CROOK,
That would be Obama/Biden
McCain: " I Can't Promise to Endorse Sarah Palin"

http://features.csmonitor.com/politics/2008/12/14/mccain-wont-endorse-palin-for-2012/

If McCain were elected and fell dead, I would hate to see Palin try to run a country with her wild
antics.
Racists and bigots like, lets see, McCain and Palin, Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Coulter and Hannity?
Give me a break....
What they want is to be able to bash McCain, bash Bush, and bash Palin...
in private, their own little hatefest, slap each other on the back and high five...they could not care less about any issues. That should be patently obvious. And rather sad.
Sarah Palin fans are as whack as Palin.
Even John McCain's top adviser referred to Sarah Palin as a whack job.
So let me get this straight

If Bush changes his mind it's flip-flopping but if a Democrat and/or liberal does it he/she's just exercising his right to change their mind.

I just love pointing out blatant double standards which their seems to be a lot of in the liberal ideology.

What you fail to realize is that what is going on Washington right now is politics as usual on both sides.  Both sides are playing the game to some extent.  The liberals are just realllly bad at it.

So, let me get this straight...
The poster of sickened and fed up can post here and criticize and this is okay, but Think Liberal cannot defend the original post, and if he/she does, he/she is not compassionate? Sounds pretty one-sided to me.
let me see if I have this straight

I'm a little confused. Let me see if I have this straight.....

* If you grow up in Hawaii, raised by your grandparents, you're "exotic,
different."
* Grow up in Alaska eating mooseburgers,  a quintessential American story.

* If your name is Barrack you're a radical, unpatriotic Muslim.
* Name your kids Willow, Trig and Track, you're a maverick.

* Graduate from Harvard Law School and you are unstable.
* Attend 5 different small colleges before graduating, you're well grounded.

* If you spend 3 years as a brilliant community organizer, become the first
black President of the Harvard Law Review, create a voter registration drive
that registers 150,000 new voters, spend 12 years as a Constitutional Law
professor, spend 8 years as a State Senator representing a district with more
than 750,000 people, become chairman of the state Senate's Health and Human
Services committee, spend 4 years in the United States Senate representing a
state of  13 million people while sponsoring 131 bills and serving on the
Foreign Affairs, Environment and Public Works and Veteran's Affairs
committees, you don't have any real leadership experience.
* If your total resume is: local weather girl,  4 years on the city council
and 6 years as the mayor of a town with fewer than 7,000 people, 20 months as
the governor of a state with only 650,000 people, then you're qualified to
become the country's second highest ranking executive.

* If you have been married to the same woman for 19 years while raising 2
beautiful daughters, all within Protestant churches, you're not a real
Christian.
* If you cheated on your first wife with a rich heiress, and left your
disabled wife and married the heiress the next month, you're a Christian.

* If you teach responsible, age appropriate sex education, including the
proper use of birth control, you are eroding the fiber of society.
* If, while governor, you staunchly advocate abstinence only, with no other
option in sex education in your state's school system while your unwed teen
daughter ends up pregnant, you're very responsible.

* If your wife is a Harvard graduate lawyer who gave up a position in a
prestigious law firm to work for the betterment of her inner city community,
then gave that up to raise a family, your family's values don't represent America's.

USA, your family is extremely admirable.

OK, got it! It is sooo much clearer now
