Yes, that is interesting and an eye-opener but

we all know why...everything the Prez wanted, the Dems blocked it. Everything the Pubs wanted, the Dems blocked it. The Dems were not looking out for the country. They were looking out for themselves and fighting every bill and law if it didn't come from a Dem.

As for pork barrel money, I did notice a change in my own county. All of a sudden, there is free money all around. It is for good causes, though, like a bypass that has been needed for 25 years but never got because a certain governor (also a Dem) gives all his money to Pittsburgh and Philadelphia for sports arenas and convention centers. Then people wonder why our state is #1 for the worst roads in PA. When Gov. Ridge was in office, we went from #1 to #25 in 1 year.

Well, my husband has worked 20 days this year because there are no road construction jobs going on except in Philadelphia and I-80. Know why? They want to turn I-80 into a toll road because they gave the turnpike lease to a company from another country for the next ??? years!

I'm sorry I got off topic, but your post has opened my eyes even more. Keep up the good work, Sam. I appreciate it.

BTW, I was thinking of voting for Obama earlier this year, but not after reading and researching with the links on the board here, plus the fact that I want to be safe in my own country, and I think McCain is the more capable leader.
