SP is no more important than any other governor and in fact, looking at the first link I provided, I would say that Alaska is not very concerned with taking care of their soldiers and their families. Also, SP is their commander only as long as they are on inactive status - once they are activated and sent overseas or used as active duty soldiers even in the US, she is not involved in their training or their service whatsoever, so that does not count as any kind of military experience. She only uses them in case of a state emergency (flooding, rioting, etc.).

Oh Yeah. Why? Betcha it's because

they wouldn't get any more bailout money if they didn't. They want another $20 Million. What's more important? $20 million free money or a $50 million jet they would have to pay for?
