Terrific looking robot

  I'll vote for Biden.

Terrific experiment...NOT s/m
If one actually believes you did this....I don't.
Terrific article. I had not heard about

I'm glad you posted this because I did not know that they were going in that direction.  I feel almost proud of them in a strange way for going there!  I was curious to see an ad, so I Googled and found this great short clip from them and am posting a link below.  I don't think it is one of the actual ads that the article mentioned though.  The clip doesn't focus only on the uninsured but also on the financial strain put on people with insurance coverage.

I thought this was a power quote from John Seffrin, chief executive of the cancer society, “I believe, if we don’t fix the health care system, that lack of access will be a bigger cancer killer than tobacco,” Mr. Seffrin said in an interview. “The ultimate control of cancer is as much a public policy issue as it is a medical and scientific issue.”

A parent can preach all they want to........ sm
but most times kids will stray from that teaching whether through pure rebellion or in an effort to make their own way. Sometimes they return to their parents' teaching, sometimes they don't.

Did you follow your parents' teaching to the letter? Did you follow all their rules? I doubt it very seriously. I know I didn't, but as I have grown older and have raised 2 boys myself, I now see the value in the teachings of my parents.

I agree with sbMT and others here who have said that it is sad that you find such happiness in others' troubles. I hope you are never disappointed by your own kids, and if you are, I certainly hope no one else finds joy in your misery.
Terrific video by high school student in Alabama‏
A friend sent me this email and thought it was great I wanted to share it here. Link included at bottom

This will stir your patriotism, it’s good.

Wow! This is spectacular.

Tea Party commercial by an Alabama teenager...

I asked Justin if he could help me make a commercial for my group's Tea Party. He sat down at the laptop for about an hour and then brought this to me and asked "is this okay, Mom?"

After I finished watching it, my stomach was in my throat. Everyone that I have sent it to has really enjoyed it so I wanted my friends to see it. I am so proud! Enjoy!

A PROUD MOM

I am not a redneck parent, I am waaaaay over 30, and...
I have a LOT of life experience. I also am NOT voting for Obama. Why?? because he is black..no, because he has no experience...no. It is because I WORKED HARD FOR MY MONEY. I am NOT going to give it to somebody who has an "entitlement" mentality and has been sucking off the public teat since forever. THat is why I am not voting for obama.

And for you to make a comment like that is uncalled for. But you are entitled to your opinion.
I know we never not charged a parent for a visit -
We always sent a bill right to the parent for anything.
really, sex education is the parent's responsibility...
in my opinion. Also, I am sure that the poor quality of the educational system as a whole also contributes to this high rate of pregnancy in teens and we all know that low income teens are more likely to get pregnant and Mississippi is a poor state. I think that there are several contributing factors and it is very difficult to isolate just one. However, before anyone gets too upset, I am not against educating kids about safe sex, I just think that abstinence should be included, as well, which it was not in my California high school.
But can parent sacrifice their child to the military?

that was the question...

and No most of the country doesn't agree with the self-proclaimed martyr, Sheehan.

No parent can sign up their "child", none of which are "children" anymore BTW.

As a parent I do not think I need the government to encourage my child to be productive...

Yes, HOW DARE HE!!!
