cozar, hydrocortothisod, nervask, topolol, pravocol, aresapainia

I think you might consider Cozaar, hydrocortisone, Norvasc, Toprol (or is the dictator saying metoprolol), Pravachol, Aranesp.

The Quick Look Drug Book I found to be the best when all I had were books to look up things.  You can try www.rx.com and www.drugs.com or www.medilexicon.com

Good luck!!!

Subject: combi trial - s/m found this from 2004.

Avonex/Copaxone Combi Trial
ANational Institutes of Health (NIH) sponsored trial is beginning.
In this trial treatment naïve patients will be randomized
to receive either Avonex plus placebo (one out of four patients),
Copaxone plus placebo (one out of four patients) or Avonex
plus Copaxone (two out of four patients). The trial hopes to
answer the question, “Do interferon-beta and glatiramer acetate
work synergistically when given together?” Both drugs are
approved for the treatment of MS, but are seldom used together
because of the costs of the treatments when combined and the
lack of safety and efficacy data available.

Just because they pronounce badly, depend on your drug reference resources. You have to ignore the bad pronunciation and rely on your resource materials. It is amantadine just as it says in your drug book

I had checked my drug book as well as an online reference and did a Google search.  However, I often find that some medications are not in my reference materials and I found spelling for both ways with the Google search.  (Posters often misspell things when posting on the internet).  When I looked up what amantadine was used for, I found that it was an antiviral agent for Influenza or viral infection.  This is not what it was being prescribed for, so I thought just maybe there could be such a drug that sounded similar.  It wouldn't be the first time I have run into this.  Thanks for you input.

In the Sanders Pharmaceutical Drug Book 2008 it shows Benicar HCT, no slash
Subject: In the Sanders Pharmaceutical Drug Book 2008 it shows Benicar HCT, no slash

HCT is hydrochlorothiazide and when together, Benicar HCT means hydrocholorthiazide. It should not have to be spelled out and cannot be mistaken for hydrocortisone because there is no such thing as Benicar hydrocortisone. I would leave as is as your QA and others have stated. Hopefully this clears it up.

Dosepak vs. dose pack
Subject: Dosepak vs. dose pack

I know this has been asked 100 times, but i would like some clarification advise from anyone willing to give it!!  Medrol Dosepak is a brand name and should be typed as such; however, i see so many times MTs typing Dosepak on things like prednisone and Sterapred.  I cannot verify that anything other than Medrol should be Dosepak but is there some sort of unwritten rule i missed???  Help!!  Any and all advise is appreciated.

Could it be Depo-Medrol?  This is primarily used as an anti-inflammatory or immunosuppressant agent in the treatment of a variety of diseases.  Hope this helps!
