Sounds like ****  At the origin of the right internal, there is a right ***circumferential** plaque present.


I have never heard this before any advice?????? or suggestions????

At this point, careful carotid endarterectomy was done. It was begun at the common carotid artery. A wood plane was obtained and it was transected proximally and carried towards the bifurcation.

Patient had a CVA. He also had an MRA at that time, which showed a hyperplastic? hypoplastic? artery, and no aneurysms.  (I think artery mentioned is carotid.)
