abbreviate everything - must think she's paying the bill.  Anywho - she's dictating the PE and at the very beginning says:

AF/VSS (afebrile/vital signs stable, I assume) and UOP adequate.  Then goes on with no acute distress, alert and oriented, yada yada yada.

So what exactly is UOP?

It was also felt that bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome was incidental and unrelated to the industrial injury, based on the mechanism.  Numbness involving the middle, ring, and small fingers would not be consistent; however, she would be worrisome for a s/l CA radiculopathy or a more proximal ulnar nerve injury; however, this was not documented on the EMG nerve conduction studies.  Steroid ganglion block was recommended to determine if she would benefit from this treatment.

Subject: Podiatry help

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated:

The patient enters with discomfort on the medial borders of the right and left hallux nails. There was a slight incurvation and erythema with these areas. An incision and drainage of the offending borders was undertaken. A bedioguin was applied to the affected areas. He is to keep it in place for approximately twenty-four hours and then reevaluate it. If he has any problems, he is to contact our office for further treatment.

Does anyone have an idea as to what this might be? It also sounds like pedioguin or maybe podiaguin? I don't have a clue!!
