What is the best way to start looking up Medications and Medical terms even when you are not exactly sure how to spell them?

Retinae cream, Ampicillin and sodium sulfacetamide.  These are medications that were stated the patient used for acne.  I am not sure if my spellings are correct. I have seen Retinae or Retin-A and the ampicillin I have seen with a capital A.

Does anybody know of a website that would have a list of medications by searching with suffixes that would try to help indicate what the medication is?  For instances medications ending "olol" are b-blockers. Thanks so much.

It is consistent with a tinea infection.  I have explained to her that these infections can take quite some time to be treated because the medications we use are static rather than seidel. 


Does the phrase "static rather than seidel" make sense?

It could be. With a lot medications, you start at the lowest dose. sm

You then titrate up to a higher dose. Titration is increasing in increments rather than giving a big dose all at once. Hope this helps.
