Patient has bilateral feet ulcers, poor or nonexistent pulses. Dr. says her skin is thin and atrophic with s/l "zarosis planoy".  I can find "xerosis" which does not seem to apply here.  Any ideas would be appreciated.  TIA.

Moses sign to detect deep vein thrombosis.  You will not find it listed in very many places.  It is not in any medical dictionary.  Write it down in your dictionary so you will have the reference when you need it. 


This information was passed on to me by a physician I worked with years ago.

This is what I am hearing.  Does this make sense/look correct?  This MD likes to make every word short and sweet.... but I get so confused where to put it all.  Thank you.


 


EXTREMITIES:  There is edema of the right ankle at the site of fracture times two.  Trace to 1+ on the left, significantly diminished pulses equal 0-1 DP and PT lower extremities bilaterally.  Normal upper.
