PSMs are two-year American masters degrees...fairly new. usually physician assistants (PA-C) or medical students (MS1, etc.) dictate but i guess it's possible a PSM could be working as a clinical consultant and dictating...interesting!

but...I remember researching this awhile ago and finding out it was French.  Babel Fish translate "en face" from French to English as "opposite".
