Possibility that she is having pain around the instrumentation. Reviewed her last CT scan from November. This shows progressing fusion, but there are still areas of s/l fry-grenti graft at that time.

 I am searching my references as we speak, nothing seems really close in sound, for contusion, usually they use an Ace wrap bandage and gauze (or some other elastic-type bandage), ice, and elevate, and rest. I will keep looking, though!!

An MRI scan of the lumbar spine was performed in an open unit. The quality of the scan is poor.
There is a retrolisthesis on the scan at L5-S1 with a s/l shelf of disc material and possible impingement of the right L5 and S1 nerve roots with a left lateral disc osteophyte complex as well.
Has anyone ever heard the term shelf of disc material?
