The sentence starts talking about the patients previous surgeries.... hydrocele repair, left inguinal hernia repair then it sounds like next floor to a laparotomy. Please help!

This mass extended above the umbilicus. We then did a wide transverse incision and dissected through the subcutaneous tissue and the fascia. We then saw a "rectus athesis" and we then dissected between this area and were able to dissect upward and downward. Thank you.

Well he had a laparotomy with adhesiolysis, and enterotomy with small-bowel decompression...
