Haven't encountered this before and I can't find it.  Doc says: obvious ____________ over the exposed nailbed, the nail having been avulsed.

My doc is dictating a follow up saying that "the s/l sequent area of pneumonia in the right lung has improved"  Does that make sense to anyone? I know "sequent" is a word, but need to know if it makes sense in a medical context.  I've never heard it.   Thanks very much.

I've worked for a lot of orthopods as both an MT and an editor over the years and I don't think I've ever heard one of them define what CAM actually stood for.

It's not even very easy to find out what those letters mean via any source.

I've made a note of "controlled ankle motion" just for my own personal information, but if any of my docs dictate "CAM" then I would give them exactly that: CAM
