Anyone currently working Webmedx/Transhealth radiology would care to share info on them - sm
Are all of the dictators ESL as in the test on the website?  If you sign on as a radiology MT are you still allowed a 12-hour window.  Has workload been fairly consistent? Any info would be greatly appreciated.  I took the test and would like some info before I am contacted.  TIA.

Care to share the name of the company?

Is it a National?  How many MTs (educated guess is fine).  You can E-Mail me if you prefer.  I am just curious to find out how many companies have MT friendly QA staff.  Thanks.

Would you care to share the name of the company
What a total rip-off.

Which companies use the Edmat platform? Standard lph at most companies is 150. Struggled with Express Scribe to get that. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Any info I have is old, too. Are they currently advertising? They had decent accounts a couple years ago, though I heard their QA people weren't the kindest.

anyone care to share comments re: Preferred Transcriptions in PA? sm
I'm not able to find enough feedback + or -, and I am contemplating sending a resume. Veteran MT here, and refuse to waste my time or theirs applying with a company who does not offer what I'm looking for. I don't need health insurance, but want full-time steady work with a fair line rate and no weekends. Maybe I'm asking for too much, but over the years I have put my share of weekends in, missing holidays with family, missing my childrens' events/activities etc. Thanks for any and all information.
ProScript in Sarasota, Florida.. Any care to share.. sm
any information on this company?  Have heard a few good things in the past but not much recent information on search.  You can email me privately.  Thank you.
Anyone care to share info on Meridian HealthCare Solutions?
Is it a good company to work for.  How is the software, is it user-friendly, how is the response from tech, supervisors, QA, etc.    Thanks
InterPro present or past employees care to share your experiences
I'm to take the test tomorrow.  Thanks in advance
Are you acute care or Radiology?
The difference being that Radiology usually has a faster TAT. I think most companies will be flexible. I know a few give you a 12-hour window to get your time in.
Are you doing acute care or radiology?nm
x
You did not specify: Radiology or acute care?
as it took FOREVER to maneuver and so at $1.20 per radiology report, I was losing money big time. Hope this helps.
Anyone willing to share their experience with SOAP
Transcription? I'm interested in platform, amount of work, expander, etc. Thank you!
Please share your experience with floreclosure. nm

Keystrokes for Radiology. Not sure about acute care. sm
I have been there 2 years, have plenty of work, make great money, have direct deposit and get left alone.  Perfect for me.
Definitely have Acute Care. Not sure on Radiology. Call and ask! nm

course, this is all for acute care, radiology is totaly different. nm

I do acute care, radiology, and nephrology..
I get paid more doing radiology specialty. I get paid 11 cpl for acute care including OPs. Radiology pays me differently, and I seem to make more in a shorter time with radiology.

Nephrology pays me 9 cpl, but I guess because the reports are shorter, I can push more through at a quicker rate rather than being on an acute care report a little longer.
Anyone here working for Medivoxx that can share experience with them? nm
xxxxxx
I started out in radiology. It's so much easier than acute care.
Never figured out why they separate it from the rest since it's just another specialty. If you can do acute care, you can do radiology, so might as well give it a whirl! Gotta be better than Softscript.
Anyone work for Milner in Atlanta who would share your experience? Thanks! nm

I don't think it is acting like a spoiled child to share your experience...
the original poster asked the question, we are just sharing our side of the story...
I transcribe FT and teach PT because I WANT to share my knowledge and experience with sm
others getting into this line of work. If you do not make $45,000 to $50,000 in transcription, you either are not very good or not very dedicated. It is easy and I do that in 6 hours a day with a 30-minute lunch.

Anyone work for Spheris doing VR? Could you share experience, pay, line count etc..
Also, what are the benefits like i.e., medical insurance etc??
Anyone has recent experience with Med-Scribe out of FL that could share, good, bad, or indifferent??
Thanks. I want to make an informed decision if I proceed with them. As everyone, you get tired of wasting your time on companies that are not worth it so I'm doing a little research on this one. Can anyone help??
Anyone with work experience to share on All Type? Choice time once again.....sm
and very happy holidays and merry christmas to everyone out there!  TIA!
I work on acute care accounts, so I can't speak for the radiology side. (SM)
The work does look like it's beginning to pick up though for acute care.
My experience with radiology
I had been in transcription for about 13 years and working at a hospital doing acute care. The radiology dept apparently minus an MT asked if I would help them out. I worked over there for a week or two until the person returned. I had never done radiology before, have not done since but I don't understand why you would have such a problem with it. Like a piece of cake to me actually.
Anybody have any experience using Powerscribe for Radiology?
Wondering what the platform is like to work on.
Radiology a Transolutions - experience anybody?

Anybody have any experience doing radiology at Transolutions?  What are the accounts like, platform, pay per report?

TIA

Anybody have experience doing Radiology with Webmedx?

Curious about how radiology is with WebMedx.  Can anybody give info on pay, accounts, platform, etc?

Tx.

No experience on radiology, but also a happy Tr/MDIer. nm

Does Webmedx radiology still pays everyone at 7.25 per line regardless of experience?
x
Just because an MT has "acute care" experience,
Some companies will place MTs on acute care accounts, but they only have them set up to do certain specialties for that hospital. I worked on an acute care account, but I did not touch neuro, cardio, or pulmonology. They had these specialties assigned to the more experienced MTs on the account. So I think it is certainly fair for a recruiter to ask this question.
if acute care experience, TRX

Most of the jobs do not care how much experience
a person has now. The nationals are basically paying the same, 8 for straight and 4 for VR. I also remember getting extra pay for what they called weighted reports, those being ESLs or the most difficult reports. Gosh, I miss those, gravy!!
3 years acute care experience sm
They do have ESLs and you need to be familiar with a wide range of specialties as they are hospital accounts.  But lots of good dictators too.  Good luck!
me too.. I do not have experience transcribing acute care and

I have been trying my luck with acute care MT companies but no one would hire me because I dont have experience transcribing acute care reports.  I have experience transcribing oncology reports for three years, so if someone here who can help me find a company that hires one?  It would be greatly appreciated.

If you have acute care experience, you should be fine...
but if all you have is clinic experience you may have a problem...good luck though!!!
Acute care experience is limited...

BUT I want to apply for a position in acute care.  I have experience in everything except for operative reports and I am wondering if I should lie and tell the company I have this experience just to secure the position.  I know I can do it because I am resourceful, but is it worth it?  Should I be upfront about my experience or just wing it?  Is acute care really that much harder than clinic?  I pretty much aced the acute care exam, but wondering if my lack of experience will hurt me in the end.  Hm...

Thanks for any advice you may have!
