Anyone currently work for All Type or have recent experience with the company? sm

I'm currently exploring my options, and was impressed with the $1000 signon bonus offered, but wondering about the usual things -- quality and quantity of work available, pay on time, etc.

Any input would be appreciated.

depends on work type, experience, spaces, company, area

Anyone know of a company looking for 13 years experience to work flexible part-time shift
I'm getting my real estate license but still want to keep my transcription job part-time.  I'm looking for a job that will allow me to work about 20 hours a week and still have the flexibility to show a home on the spur of the moment.  Thanks, I would appreciate any info!
Anyone here working for Medivoxx that can share experience with them? nm

Any MDI-MD employees care to share their experience? sm
Could anyone share their experience from training to being released on their account and the workflow?  Is there plenty of work.... On Bayscribe is the work pooled or you pick and choose the work?  My account will be out of Washington, D.C. (SH)
Any OSI radiology MTs care to share your experience with this company?
.
I don't think it is acting like a spoiled child to share your experience...
the original poster asked the question, we are just sharing our side of the story...
I transcribe FT and teach PT because I WANT to share my knowledge and experience with sm
others getting into this line of work. If you do not make $45,000 to $50,000 in transcription, you either are not very good or not very dedicated. It is easy and I do that in 6 hours a day with a 30-minute lunch.

Anyone has recent experience with Med-Scribe out of FL that could share, good, bad, or indifferent??
Thanks. I want to make an informed decision if I proceed with them. As everyone, you get tired of wasting your time on companies that are not worth it so I'm doing a little research on this one. Can anyone help??
Well said. Appreciate your time to share this. nm

The choice is for a short time @ all SM
companies.  As more and more accounts and job types are run through VR, the straight typist will find herself without work at times.  When they tell someone they have no work, they will be told that if they would do VR they would have plenty of work.  That's how it goes.  Company will tell the MTs it's a choice, but even they know that eventually it will be forced upon everyone if they want to have steady work.
At the present time I have no choice
but to put up with this baloney.  One of her good friends is an MT and she tells me all these stories about how she met this guy online (but she's married), and how her friend drives her co-worker crazy, etc. etc.  She talks negative abouy her friend(s) as well as her other employees.  I just shut up and listen.  You dont know me - so don't judge me ya old fart!  You're a perfect example of what happens to people who stay MTing for too long.  Glad this is a temp thing!
All-Type Experience
Bren, pay no mind to the poster who suspects management just because someone had an experience better than his/her own.  I worked for All-Type several years ago but had to leave due to the lack of availability of high-speed internet service.  All-Type is the ONE AND ONLY COMPANY, out of those I've worked for in the past, that I would ever return to.  As a matter of fact, I AM returning to them.  And NO, I am not management -- just someone who did a GOOD JOB for them and was well compensated for it.
Same type of experience here. Was this by chance,
7-8 months ago?
In my experience with the same type of situation,
It will be the end of anything good about the company that was purchased.
they don't pay their share of the premium in any pay period you drop below full-time line count..
x
No, has nothing to do with the time you type ..
it is strictly production based.

You have to make your 6000 pp line requirement; have 98% QA; do at least 1600 lines in any combination of weekend days (Sat 00:01 am to Sun 11:59 pm) to qualify:

The 2 cpl is the highest you can make and it is if you type 16,000 lines or more per payperiod.

I am an SE, though, in the SW/Dallas office. It is a signed contract of tiered production incentive...???
Sorry BIG-TIME type there . . . NO not now. n/m

Wish they would share this work with
everyone - I'm out of work, just sitting here again. I ask for backup accounts, because I'm willing to type anything, and always get the work is low everywhere answer. Wish these new accounts would get going already.
Can you share where you work? TIA (nm)
nm
I work for First Choice and have lots of ops.
I am not sure if they are hiring, but you can always check.
Any other First Choice MTs out of work today?
Or is it just me?
First Choice Medical might work. sm
The minimum daily requirement is 30 minutes of dictation. People are wonderful, QA is gently strict, and the pay is good. Don't know if it's hiring, though. IC only.
All Type will be a waste of your time and a disappointment-sm
They have lost more than a few MTs and managers recently and will lose many more before May 1.  This is because they have just notified of an approximately 39% pay cut.  Although this was legal, I believe it was very unethical.  Currently the offshore outnumber the American MTs 3:1. Editors are desperately needed to work the offshore reports that need a complete retype at .035 a line. It looks as if All Type is working to phase out American MTs completely and only use American editors and supervisors and to keep paring those numbers down as they get their offshore contractors trained. Losing my job to new technology does not make me happy but I understand advancing technology is going to affect us all and the way we do our job but I cannot stomach losing my job to sweat shops in a third world country. Don't just take me at my word - ask the recruiter.
Will you share what your problem is with QT? I work there, too. Maybe I can help. nm
xx
Care to share where you work?
I've been looking for a hospital work from home for here in NJ and not having much luck.  Is the hospital in your own state?  TIA
Probably because most of us are expected to do our share and work at least one sm

day of the weekend, at least once or twice a month.  It doesn't bother me to work weekends.  I grew up with my mom in the medical field so the idea that I would be off on weekends never really occurred to me.  I do not have a family or anything, so I only have me to consider.  I usually work holidays too so those who have families can maybe spend some extra time.  Still, that is me.

If that schedule works for you and the company is happy (which would seem to be the case here), that's great.  I wouldn't mind working 10-hour days and having an extra day off, but not sure that is possible with all of the jobs I am juggling right now.  Still, we all can dream.

Again, I am glad you have a good situation for you.  Congrats!

Thanks, and for the record, I do my share of work too.

Looking for work, is Transcend a good choice
to apply to?
What is considered full time at Silent Type?
NM
I love Radnet. Can you share who you are going to work for on this? s m
or where the hospital is? I miss transcribing radiology in RadNet and am desperate to get back to it!
First Choice Medical- flexible? weekend work
x
Why would they give you a choice of 16 or 24 hours. Usually part time is anything under 37 hours.

That is extremely odd. Well they must have something up their sleeves. Well I will be working elsewhere part time as well as with MQ as I have no intention of sitting 40 hours with no work from Amherst and be expected to have 150 lph with no work. What is all this window of work time they said they would be giving everyone. I figured all along they would do away with SE. I have already been looking around and ordered a new computer  to send theirs back.

I love the company I work for and I just wanted to share
that with you all so that if you are not happy, realize there is hope out there.  I worked for Healthscribe/Spheris for over 2 years until I found this position.  I am a SE for MDI out of Maryland and I make 10 cents per 65 character line including spaces.  This is a great smaller company that does not offshore.  I am left alone to do my work but I have somebody there if I need any questions answered, etc.  QA is wonderful too.  They didn't dump me into an account full time, they let you ease into your account over a 2 week period doing 5 reports a day so you can work your other job until you are taken off of QA.  I was off QA in a week.  My account is great, the platform is great (Bayscribe), production Expander is user friendly.  For all you unhappy MTs, there is hope out there.
MedScribe, anyone work for this company that is willing to share your opinion???
I just tested and sent my resume, but I'm in the process of looking at several companies and trying to sort things out.  ty
Work for MQ and would rather share with you all than our ILP (international labor partners). sm
Actually I bet after seeing this on here a lot of MQers will be trying to get on at DSG. We both use Docuscribe and that is certainly a plus IMO.
First Choice Medical is a great company to work for, and I think they are hiring too.
I have been there for over 4 years now. They use WP51 too if you want. Good luck to you.
beds full at the 4 hospitals I type in Texas (this is never a slow time)

Thank you! I'm looking for part-time work to supplement my no-work full-time job.

Think his/her point was the share of the WEEKEND work. What makes you so special? sm

Everyone else has to work a weekend at least every now and then.

Have to agree. Scratching for work at times. Don't want to share with any more new hires if I d
Sorry if that sounds selfish, but I don't think new hires want to come on board and find the pickings are slim right now either.
I work with a rescue group so I get my share of fuzzy feelings
I financed a group to get it started, paying for the animal's care, vet bills, medicine and still do the financing. I also take my money and help others out. I just sent some money yesterday to a MT whose has a son who is in dire shape and she wants to go be with him. Not too long ago I read on here about a lady who needed help in buying a foot pedal. I sent her money for that so basically you don't know what you are saying when you say help others out. My mother said I did this from a very young age and I continue to do the same. I also take care of me, though. As far as a sugar daddy, never wanted one. I have a chef husband and a housekeeper. I work, travel, rescue animals, help others out when I want to. Priceless. End of conversation.
Very positive experience first and second time around
Over all the companies, nationals I have been with, Keystrokes shines above all others, and believe me I am cynical of this profession anymore.
I am sorry you had a hard time but that is not my experience.
I don't spend any more time on Amphion's demog screen than I did on MQ's.
Here, here. Exactly my experience also, even down to the 10 year work experience. nm

I used to work for a company who separated the MTs by work type daily. sm
regret ever leaving that company. we had a max of 4 MTs typing a large training hospital with clinics. i was assigned consults and discharges with consults being my priority. another MT had ops and admits, etc. it worked so much better. we were RARELY out of TAT and each of us were trained on other report types for backup in case someone need to take off. not to mention that we were easily able to learn the ESLs because we got them repeatively enough to learn them, set up templates, etc. much, much more productive for us as MTs, for the company as work flow, and i am sure for the dictator because they got someone who knew them and their dictations well enough to be accurate. i don't understand why large MTSOs cannot comprehend how much more beneficial that would be.
I'm sorry your experience was so bad. Yesterday was the 1st time I ever posted so you have no cl
who I am.  Please folks, Amphion mgmt is the best.  They have outstanding, professional, caring people who work very hard to keep their employees happy.  I've been there almost 3 years and am more than happy.  The benefits are tops in the industry.  But they do require excellence and reward that amply.  I won't be back here to dignify the unprofessionalism exhibited by some posters.
