I'll place a call to my buddy Ms. XanaX.
.
Thank you. Hopefully I'll hear back from them!
x
Don't worry . . . you'll hear from t hem (sm)
a month or two down the road. I left huge blanks, too, then kicked myself when enteral/parenteral nutrition came to mind later -- and I had a preemie myself years ago! They called me about 6 weeks after I tested, but I already had my plate full of desirable IC work.
if I don't hear anything tomorrow I'll be looking elsewhere
not because I don't want to work here but because the electric company won't wait, ya know what I mean?
sometimes you'll hear that there's a new account coming on board ...
sometimes that happens, sometimes it falls through ...

I'm not saying that they absolutely don't care ... but particularly if you are an independent contractor, it genuinely is not their problem.

Either way, the people who are willing to sit and wait for work will stay ... I've been one of them ... not ready to switch companies, need the lines to pay the bills.

I remember when, first of all, work was often backed up (and ALWAYS out of TAT -- the first 7 or so years I did MT) these were hospital accounts being done done by local companies who had history with each other ... The national bought out and underbid the smaller companies and one of their big selling points was TURNAROUND and they agreed to penalties into their contracts ... IMHO, many turnaround times I've heard of are silly -- ER reports and STAT H&Ps/Consults do affect patient care and could justify a 2-4 hour TAT -- most other work types could easily fit a 12-24 hour TAT with the option to flag as STAT.

It was great to be able to work any hour of any day -- now it's much more iffy and harder to make up lines if you have an unexpected down time. JMHO.
thank you, XanaX
I have decided not to take that job.  Maybe it's time to get out of MTing altogether as all the companies nowadays seem to be disreputable.  Is there no company out there like it used to be????
Take your Xanax
First off I stated I do not read these boards but about once a month, and only then new posts, recent stuff going on. Again, sorry I did not pick the exact day this company had bad posts. What I did state was that I was looking around and found this site advertised in my local paper, and then I said I had no interest in the company for myself (which was because they only seemed interested in training newbies). I only passed on the info to the newbies on this board to be HELPFUL. THEY are totally responsible for doing their own research/homework on any company listed on this board, not me. That probably means searching the archives, checking BBB, etc. I do NOT do homework for others, I only put out the possible lead. If I were to do this for everyone before I post, I would have a business of my own wouldn't I?? I am in no way recommending this company. Show me where I was doing that in my post. Bottom line, I have no due diligence to anyone on this board as far as backing up what I post. I openly stated I knew nothing about this company, meaning what? Yep, exactly. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. See if I ever try to pass on any info again, whether helpful or not!

Actually from your post it sounds as if YOU were scammed by TransSCAM! LOL, sure does since you are so passionate about it. Sorry you were scammed, if you were....
prozac is not XanaX

Thanks for the credit, but there are more than one of us out there who were treated unjustly at FN.  If the truth hurts--- Me think thou doth protest too much.

I agree with Xanax
I started work with VTS 2 weeks ago and they have been great. It seems like a very good company to work for. I was off 100% QA in just over a week.
Why should I take a Xanax in the middle
of the DAY when I am working?
Xanax is to be taken before 'crawling' into bed, it makes you fall asleep. Do you still not get it?

OMG, are you taking Xanax in the middle of the day when you are supposed to MTing? I bet you fall asleep in the middle of the day and then you cannot sleep during the night. Then you take another one, oh me oh my, you do not even follow doctors' instructions.

And one should definitely NOT DRIVE after having taken XANAX, it makes you drowsy and abstain from alcohol.

All things you do not know!
Scary!

READ THE LABEL ON THE BOTTLE!

Wow! This is toooooo much!
Xanax - I was told even if I forget to put QA
hold on, my settings were set to 100% QA. I have not worked for them in about 2 weeks and do not intend to do any more with them, but my friend is still there and V just sent them an note stating that they no longer will be on 100% QA, but she was on for 15 months.
Good grief, take a Xanax.
x
Don't think she gets it, she is just so uptight about Xanax...give her a few more years...sm
then she might actually relax enough to understand when a joke is made and not go off the deep end.  The really sad thing is, this is not the only board she has made the Xanax comments about.  Get real Jan, or maybe it's mar, that's who she reminds me of.
I'm beginning to suspect it's the Xanax Express n/m
x
Thank you, I am young. Do NOT drink alcohol if you take Xanax, dummy..
MT advanced to a recruiter, LMAO !

Anyone that applied with Kathy Kirby hear anything yet? I am wondering how long it takes to hear a
response back
If you'll read through past posts you'll find lots of
recent info.  Why do you need menitoring if you already work as an MT.  Unless you do clinic work most companies will require you to work at least one weekend day, at least initially.
If you'll read the archives you'll find out everything
you want to know, none of it good.
I said MAY NOT hear, didn't say you wouldn't hear. There is
a difference, and many people have said they knew they didn't do well on the tests, but still feel like they should have heard from companies and haven't.
Probably figure you'll want Way more than they'll offer, whatever it might be. :) nm
s
If you'll read more carefully you'll see
I was referring to AFTER she's missed out on a job, having a friend do sort of an audit to tell her what what was wrong with her test she submitted -- not cheating.
Hear, hear! (Or is it 'here, here?') LOL

Thanks! I'm glad to hear that, I didn't think anyone used it anymore! I'm glad to hear so
I'll definitely check them out!
Hear, hear! Read My Opinion's opinion.
Regarding Wondering's question, the company I work for is investing strongly in upgrading its MTs' and editors' skill levels (exactly what this says about need for us for ten years down the road I can't say). This morning I found an e-mail saying they would pay every one of us to attend an on-line class on making Expander macros to increase our productivity. Amazingly, I have to assume many employees were choosing not to attend the unpaid ones they had been offering...
Contact RBJ
directory, go to World Wide News, but keep trying.   You may have a good fit, and company may or may not shut down, but plz remember her clients are reading this as well.  Will the client base be there in a month???
Thanks! Please contact me at:

octobermt@yahoo.com with info.

Thank you.

If you can get anyone to contact you and
actually hire you and then follow through after that it probably is a good company. I was hired last year but never heard back from anyone and when I would call nobody had an answer for me.
I'm not sure, but I would contact them again as
when I applied, I heard back in less than 24 hours.
UST...no contact
I have tested with them, sent my resume about 5 times, still won't call me back to say yeah or nay, what does it take? Just shoot out an e-mail either way, I hate companies who never give the courtesy of a reply at all.
You may want to contact them, some of us have
been working constant OT...can't imaging you being out of work....
I would contact them at....
www.medwaremt.com for that information as there are too many variables. Good luck!
Anyone know how to contact ELL, TX? sm

They had a post on Job Seeker's board a couple of weeks ago.  Sent a resume but no response. Are they legitimate? Can't come up with anything on Google search or searching this board. Thanks

I would definitely contact them.
and you have bills to pay.
Same here. I would contact them again as
you won't be sorry. I have been a MT for 30+ years and have never, ever worked for a better more appreciative company. I am going to be with MDI till they have to pry my hands from the keyboard! Keep trying!!
Again, have you tried contact TT regarding
your situation? As far as facts...account signifies one.
No contact !

I would love to contact my docs just to let them know what is going on. Not for payment from them, that is not the point. Just to give them a heads up.

Are you suing over a bounced check or nonpayment?  Can anything legal be done for nonpayment? Was there ever a contract signed by you about their pay schedule? Like, you will be paid every two weeks. I have a calender of pay dates is all I have ever had. Cannot remember signing a pay schedule contract.

contact
Yes she contacted me last night and offered me 5cpl with 8 years experience.
Do you have a ph# or a contact name?
nm
You can contact
the Better Business Bureau for starters to report their business practices.  They may intervene.  They may also direct you elsewhere for help.
when you contact SM
the medical facilities, are you calling them, or sending them a standard letter, or email...

What has the response been so far?
Please contact me
I need a PT job ASAP. Is your company hiring PT? al_transcription@yahoo.com
who to contact
You can contact me at cissy.g@mediscribes.com. I am a TL/Team lead and QA for Cardioscribes. I am in touch daily with my team so I doubt you are on my account but if you contact me I can certainly put you in touch with your account team lead and QA and make sure they have your info as well.
Contact them again.
It's doubtful that Susan was the person actually posting the job ad (though possible, I guess). In my experience, everyone at T-C is very open and very, very friendly. If you're concerned, contact them again with your problem. As we all know, MTs come and go so quickly that things like resumes and tests can be easily overlooked, especially if the company is having a bit of a hiring spree. Not that it's an excuse to ignore your test results and not get back with you, but it does happen.
Where to contact them
I receive information through MTjobs.com newsletter and I believe it was in there. They do have a website for MDI and you can go there and apply for a job, or find out information.
If they don't contact you....sm
you won't be missing out on much.....find better, there are better companies out there.  FutureNet handles overflow only, they always have.
contact
Click on the link that says Contact Us at the top of the main page. Click on Contact Us again on the next page and an email box should pop up. There is no testing, it's just based on your resume and a phone interview, but I'm pretty sure they aren't hiring right now.
No Contact!
Don't feel bad!  I applied to P.R.N. as well several days ago and have not heard a word!  I specifically applied because I have many years experience in Hem/Onc and I have heard nothing.  But I have had this happen several times in the past few weeks with other ads as well.  I have no idea what these companies are looking for and why they will not reply at all after placing an ad for help.  Very rude to say the least!
I need an email/contact of someone..sm

Does anyone know the email address of an Edna Palmer with Cymed, Virginia?  I can't get my emails or calls returned, thanks.  I left my email address if you know this and want to email me privately.  TIA!!!

Contact this recruiter (sm)

Medware is a great place to work and they normally get people started very quickly. Bonnie will take good care of you!

I'm interested too. Please contact me also.
Does Amphion now have the St. Luke's ER account? If so, please contact me at
