since you have been with 1 company for such a long time that you've become a very valued member of that team, and I'm almost certain that as long as you give decent notice and keep in touch with your old compadres there, that they'll take you back in a second if you decide you want to go back there. Try not to be scared, it's always frightening (but a little thrilling too, am I right?) to start something new. I'm sure that you'll do great in your new position and I wish you the very best of luck (especially since I'm about to do the very same thing!)
