"you bet it does"
For one thing honey, I am quite sure I have been an MT longer than most of the MTs on here, over 30 years? I have been around the block and know how these national companies work. And who said my job didn't work out? You don't know anything about me. I never mentioned my job. I have never and never will kiss butt in any position for any amount of money. Where is "holier than thou" attitude? I don't think any of the MTs that are posting have that attitude. They are simply tired of working and working and not being appreciated. You MUST BE one of those butt kissers that you refer to because if you look around at the posters, most of them are in agreement. The ones that are not in agreement are either butt kissers or QA because there are very few positive posts on here. And no one likes "butt kissers" either unless you are one of them, which I suspect you are. If you have to be a "butt kisser" to get to the top or get promoted, something is wrong. A person should get a job based on their qualifications not because they are "a yes" person and that seems to be the case at OSI.
to "you can be sued"
Get real, get a life.
that should be "you're"

how 'bout "you're a fun one"
no message.
The statement "you get paid

when we get paid was a big STOP sign for me. All I know.

And "your" and "you're!"

I beg to differ on "you people" There
may be only 1 or 2 complainers, maybe a few more, but most everyone is happy there, so don't put all of us in that group.
oops. Lots of typos. How about "you just cant WIN" maybe I need a nap@@@

My (different) company gave us that "you'll
2 years later, I'm less productive, not more, on that godawful, 'new-and-improved' platform.
When I use the word "you" in my post, I am not referring to you specifically but
all the posters on this board.

If emails saying, "You guys make Transtech rock" pays your bills, let me know, because

I have figured out a way to pay my bills with such **old, wornout** words.

Management is rocking alright, because their paychecks are not affected at all with the NO WORK/LOW WORK situation that has been going on now for MONTHS and MONTHS.  That seems so unfair when without the MT's, the mgmt would have no paychecks!!!!!

They are not telling "you" when to work, they are stating when they need work done.
As an IC, you have the right to accept the contract or not.

Would you let an IC roofer work on the roof of your house on Sundays from 7 a.m. to noon, and on Monday night from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m., just because they are an IC?!

As an IC, you make an agreement as to when you are available to work, and if it matches what MDI (or whomever) needs, then you sign a contract. Otherwise, you find someplace else to work, and they find an IC who is willing to work the hours that they need covered.
