Just checked Data-Med Website

The one I sent my resume to has an Indiana address. I couldn't find anything about it being in India. What website are you looking at, or what is the website address of the company from India? I'm confused, but I have an awful cold so maybe I'm just loopy. LOL.

I had checked out their website before...
and I liked what I read. I also love Softmed/Chartscript. Can you tell me how they pay (DD, per line, etc) and how much? Thank you!
Then you need to be professional, give a company website than can be checked out sm
and let people apply there.  Why in the world would you expect people to get their personal info to you, if you are less than professional yourself.  I certainly would not, especially after your post here.
You should check out the Nuance website and the Focus website
Nuance is Dictaphone and since a lot of use Dictaphone equipment, you can say we all have something to do with this. If you are surprised at the website above, look at the US website of nuance. Just IMHO and try to get both sides of the corporation.
Data Key, MD, anyone know anything
about this company? Benefits, pay, anything?
Anyone know anything about Data Key
in Maryland?  Pay, benefits, QA??  Line count requirement?
Data-Med - I'd like to know too
I have an extensive work history in doing insurance transcription (I just lost my long time job to digital, I was doing their tapes). I checked out their website and it looks great. I sent my resume yesterday, and I'm waiting to hear back.
Which Data-Med?
Yeah, I googled them, too. But there are actually two Data-Meds: One in the Phillipines and one in the US. Of course, I know they most likely are the ones in the US. But why couldn't she even post a correct link to her web site?

Data-Med in the U.S.
It was for the insurance transcription position. If I hear anything I'll let the board know. Not sure about the link to the Website, I had never thought of that. I just thought it was MTStars related.
No it is not Data-Med and not in the US
The one with the hyphen is in the philippines.

Hasanyone ever worked for Data-Med transcription?
I worked for a Data Med
company out of Indiana, a lady named Marcia for a very, very short period of time about 2 months ago.  I typed a few reports for her and was amazed with her response.  She was looking for someone to do a perfect job the first time and I was told I was basically not good enough for the job.  I am relatively new to transcription, 3 1/2 years, but have a very good track record for accuracy and grammer, etc.  The report she sent back to me actually had very minor errors, mostly commas which she did not want in there.  You may have a different experience - it did sound very flexible I remember, but was not the job for me.
Post down below says they used to be Scribes Data. nm

data entry companies
Wondering if anyone knows of some data entry positions and if so where can I go to find work from home.
STP Medical Data Services

of Illinois has job posting and unable to find any information here or on web on them - anyone worked for them or have any experience with them?

STP Medical Data Services

Does anybody have any information on this company?  I can't find anything on them anywhere.  Thanks!

ask about platform and no prefilled data
You need to look up schedules, find MRN, name, type all info into data fields. My supervisor was not good. My QA was good. They pay on time and training is decent. I did not stay long because of all the pre-work invovled before actually transcribing, and then they were all short notes, was not worth the extra CPL.
Data Med Northwest Indiana
Anyone familiar with this transcription service?  They pay by the minute, is this good or bad.  I have never been paid by the minute.
Does anyone do any data entry from home?
Just curious.  I would like to cut down to part time doing MT work and do some part time data entry!!!!
patient data not paid
Fill in the patient data on a no-report and send it through. Watch as Bayscribe tells you the line count for the report was 0. The top ID info is not paid. Not a big deal to me, but people should be aware.
Milner Voice & Data
Anyone work for and enjoy this company? Can you give me details on benefits, schedules, pay, etc? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
Atlanta Data Scribes
Searched archives but didn't find anything that was helpful...all from 2006-2007.  Anyone familiar with this company?  Pros and cons please.  Thanks.
AmeriMed Data Services
Does anyone know whether this company pays on time or is she habitually late?  I would like to hear from anyone that is currently working for her or anyone who has recently worked for her.  Thanks!
Data-Med, any info appreciated
I tried a search for them and came up with zippo.  I found it strange however, that from the job seeker's board - and they have 2 ads up there, 1 for neuro/pain management and 1 for insurance interviews.  On one of those ads (forget which) it says for more details  1 will take you to a data-med nonmedical position listed in the career center - the other 1 will take you to a MT job posted under clinics (I think) for Focusmatics.  I wonder if they just made a mistake or if they are Focusmatics.
Data Entry / Excalibur
Does anyone work for or know anything about this company?  Sorry, no time nor money for scams.
Excaliber Data entry
So Excaliber Data Entry was a scam?  I wondered why it disappeared and they got me for the $55.  LIVE AND LEARN.  Just was trying to get something part-time as DTS, America has been out of work since I started in March....If I have work I can make the line requirement and I have 1 primary and 3 backup accounts. :(
Excaliber Data entry
It is MY OWN STUPID fault.  My husband said the same thing, anything or anyone who wants money up front.
Excilaber Data entry
They wanted $55 for a background/criminal check. If you fail the check, then you get refunded but if you fail the test and they do not hire you no refund. The test is Microsoft 2007 which I have never used as I have not needed to. Just sounded like a good thing.

Thanks for responding
I checked my QA
and you are right. I don't know who it is tho.
Checked it out
My account doesn't use I-chart, but on a small single chart I counted every character and every space and ended up with 902; divided 65 into that and got 14+.  When I checked my line count later, it was 15.  Did the same with the next one.  It also agrees with the Word Count under Tools.  Checking CTL-S and statistics gives me a higher count, but I think that includes the headers, for which we do not get paid.  It looks fine to me.  I'm not sure about I-Chart.  This is Xpress line counter though, and I don't see anything like skimming.  Maybe you should explain better.
I have checked into 3 different

8 cpl seems to be the going rate for 8 years experience.  However, at one of the nationals, if I worked odd hours of the night, produced over 2000 lines an 8 hr shift I could get paid more than 10 cpl.

I had already checked...
the archives and the main board but I double checked just to make sure and sure enough there's nothing much there. The few that are recent are my posts, one about the type of platform they use and want ads, that's it. All other posts are around a year old. I read them anyway and it was informative, provided nothing has changed that is. That's why i was really needing someone who currently works there to shed some light.
Not last I checked!
nm
I had checked into them once,...
And I thought their web site said they did NOT hire US MTs. Maybe is mis-read something. Good luck!
I checked out TRX...
...they require 500 lines per day for part time on a very heavy ESL account. I was looking for something to do 4 to 6 hours a day on fri/sat/sun but if they are difficult clinicians to understand, it could take you 12 hours to 500 lines! just FYI.
not last I checked ...
almost, but not quite.
My doc checked into it but said
it was too expensive right now. So he's not making the switch until forced to do so. So I'm safe for a little while. I told him to give me at least a couple month's notice. LOL
I just checked
and the highest producers posted had 98% or above, usually 99%. The reason I have gotten a higher LPH is from a change in how I look things up (using a nice Auto Hot Key script) and not because I am actually going faster. ISR has helped my total LPH average as well--something else people don't like to hear. I can't imagine I am that special so I think others can do it too.

I think Scribes Voice and Data Services...

Data Entry Specialist job listing?

Does anyone know anything about the data entry specialist job listing on the job board?  Is this one of those scam or is it a real job?  I applied for it, but have not heard anything yet.  Has anyone here heard anything about it?

Thanks

Data Entry Specialist Listing

I was wondering if anyone had heard back from this job listing yet?  I got an email today from Stanford Executive Recruitment today with the same information as the job listing and so am assuming that is them.  They want a $14.00 registration fee so I am smelling SCAM.  Just wondering what you all thought or have experienced with this one.

Thanks

Any info on Milner Voice and Data? sm

I did a search for this company on the site, but came up with nothing.  Does anyone know anything about them?  I would appreciate any information someone could offer!  Thanks in advance!

Any info on Medical Data Services, Inc.?
I am not coming up with anything in a search.
Applicant has Some Ad Posting Tips for Data-Med
Hey, I applied for a job with your company. Here are some tips for you:

1. My first reaction was disgust at having to cut and paste my resume into the MT Stars form. Why couldn't you let the applicants send an email to your address so all the wonderful bullets and neat formatting that you requested (that actually most of your applicants probably had in their resumes) would stay clean and easily readable? It always seems very lame to me when companies won't even supply an email address--and suspicious. I've been scammed into free work on this board before. No email address means to me a red flag. And I despise posting my resume into that form.

2. The link to your web site on the MT stars template is broken. I don't know if you're aware of that or not. But, again, it was another red flag for me. Either you didn't have much attention to detail or you were a scammer.

Just some helpful information.
