New cardiology job post on job seeker's board....
anybody know what company this is?
Anyone working on the new cardiology account for Archivus out of NC?
Looking for info on platform used, percentage of ESLs, number of docs, if there are templates/headers/footers?
Not just cardiology, other things. You might be talking about a different account
Perhaps it is a different server (there are 2 for regular 1 for rad), and that is why you are not getting the information. Why not just e mail your sup to ask to be trained on something else too. I did and that is the reason why I am working. They need to know if you are willing to learn new account specs, or go to another server, probably. But the new one I am working on I am getting fine reports.
My cardiology account is actually my lowest paying.

See ad on Job Seeker Board for
Diskriter, looks like they have paid downtime. Don't know anything about them, but I was just on looking at ads and noticed that. Maybe someone will come on and tell you a little more about them.
Did you see this on Job Seeker's board?
Is this the same company?  Hoping to find out something, also, if it is.
Go to the Job Seeker's Board

If you want to do the work yourself, you can just go to the Job Seeker's Board on this site.  Just about all of the companies who are looking to hire MTs give their minimum requirements.  You can also get the company names there.  Also, some companies have different standards depending on whether it is acute care or clinic, a certain specialty (such as cardiolory or radiology), etc.  That info will also be given in their ads.  So you should be able to get exactly the information you need without waiting for people to reply.  Hope this helps.

Look at ads on job seeker's board. Most of them

state what they are looking for and frequently there are posting for all Ops.  You can also post your resume on on the various job boards.  There is usually a space for you to state objectives, you can say you want lots/all ops.

I don't see them on the job seeker's board.

TT new account is cardiology, procedure junk that you cant get lines on.
So, it is working for nothing practically.  Just a new account on board for TT.

CMT trainer for MT course on job seeker's board?

Now they want us to give out trade secrets to our international labor partners, aka Asian MTs?  That's like training your successor before you know you are being fired.  The indignities of this profession are piling up....

Good employee on the job seeker's board --

If you're interested in working weekends, I see Jessica Reeves from Amerimed has a job posted.  From my experience, she is very good to work for.

The ad on job seeker board is a joke. Do not go to this company if you
want recognition and want to be appreciated.  They do not know the meaning of the words.   Nastiest people I ever worked for, would never work for that pack of thieves again as long as I live.   The higher up the ladder you go, the nastier they are.

Maybe they ARE for real!!

I read that post on job seeker's board, and it makes absolutely no sense...sm
Scary to think this is what medical reports might look like coming in from overseas MTs. Thank goodness I'm not an editor...that would irritate the living --- out of me. Quite an embarrassment to those of us in this profession who have worked hard over the years and are proud of what we do.
Anyone apply for the ortho job on Seeker's Board from Diane's Physican's Support Service?..
I was just curious if anyone sent their resume for this job and if you have heard anything?  Or any pros and cons about the company itself?
I agree..I have been very busy on my account and have not even been on this board (sm)
for 3 days in a row. I am still with KS and very happy.  A couple weeks ago I posted my true feelings about working there because they were true and after the horrors I experienced at Medquist the last year I was there, KS is a refreshing change of pace.  If someone doesn't like the fact that people who work for KS are genuinely happy, don't read the posts about them. I am not a member of management or someone who was coerced to write how I feel about my job.  I have worked for 4 MT companies in the past 15 years and Keystrokes is far and away the best.  I do not like switching companies either so I plan on staying with Keystrokes for the duration of my career.
Did they say a new account is coming on board and they are training the
xxx
Well, I was happy for that overflow account coming on board

It is helping out some. No, I don't work on that account, but I did put in a full shift today.

In fact, the work is picking up on the account I work on as I had a total of 3 full shifts this week. Sure feels funny to work a full shift lately.

sometimes you'll hear that there's a new account coming on board ...
sometimes that happens, sometimes it falls through ...

I'm not saying that they absolutely don't care ... but particularly if you are an independent contractor, it genuinely is not their problem.

Either way, the people who are willing to sit and wait for work will stay ... I've been one of them ... not ready to switch companies, need the lines to pay the bills.

I remember when, first of all, work was often backed up (and ALWAYS out of TAT -- the first 7 or so years I did MT) these were hospital accounts being done done by local companies who had history with each other ... The national bought out and underbid the smaller companies and one of their big selling points was TURNAROUND and they agreed to penalties into their contracts ... IMHO, many turnaround times I've heard of are silly -- ER reports and STAT H&Ps/Consults do affect patient care and could justify a 2-4 hour TAT -- most other work types could easily fit a 12-24 hour TAT with the option to flag as STAT.

It was great to be able to work any hour of any day -- now it's much more iffy and harder to make up lines if you have an unexpected down time. JMHO.
They want to know about cardiology exp, SM
since that seems to be another speciality of acute care now. Also, oncology, since they are always looking for people who are proficient in that.
