Actually, while the delivery of the sentiment may be technically questionable, the sentiment itself is correct.

Top rate is what you are able to get. Rates go from 4 to 20+ cpl. You would do better to call around your area and ask what the offices are paying.

In my state, we never made it past 15 except for rare occasions. In other states, 20-27 cpl was acceptable.

So no one here can really give you the answer.

But the poster suggesting you look into some business information is guiding you correctly. It's really not just as simple as saying I'm now a business and I charge X.

They hire in preparation for new accounts, those new MTs start getting (sm)
up to speed and they are sharing our work until the new accounts come on. Yes, it may get a little lighter because of this, but when their new accounts come on they scoot over and we have the option of another backup account in our pools if we need it. It is called growing and team work. So far any time I have had to flex my schedule it has worked just fine and they have certainly been great about flexing with me when emergency things pop up. These are good people and they want us all to make money and help maintain a good company, they don't want us low on work. Work with them and they will work with you.

Maybe MQ is over hiring now in preparation for something. Must be some reason they keep hiring when
some people have not work.
