first-hand knowledge about Proveros paying late, just posts I read here.  I know nothing about TTS other than awhile back I applied and with over 30 years of experience, they sent me an email saying their pay scale was 6-something cpl, which is totally unacceptable to me.  However, it sounds like you and the other poster are quite happy there, and in the end, that's all that really matters.  I am happy for you.  :-)

Let me tell what this ONE person achieved on her own and then you can imagine what many of us can do if we stand together.

Two years ago, I was working as an MT for a local hospital.  One day, we were told that our overflow was going to be outsourced to one of the nationals, just the discharge summaries and not even all of those.  Two months after they told us that lie, they called is in one by one and fired us because they were outsourcing the entire dept because it was cost effective.  The service they were using was a very large national who I happened to know had a reputation of offshoring.  And I just knew because our little hospital had easy as pie dictators with maybe 4 out of a staff of 200 that were ESL, our work would most definitely be one of the accounts offshored.

I was angry!  Oh, they offered us jobs at the service and told us we would definitely be working on our hospital, but I'm no fool and I knew it would be a matter of time before we were forced to take secondary accounts which would eventually become our primary accounts and our little hospital would just disappear from our queues. 

I refused the job with the service on moral grounds.  I refused to work for a company that offshored.  And then I decided to channel my anger and outrage into something proactive.  I wrote letters to every newspaper in my area.  Every small farming community newspaper this hospital served, and the big city newspaper in the big city close by.  I never dreamed that anyone would pay attention at one woman's rantings.  But a funny thing happened.  My letter was printed in more than one of the papers I sent it to, and reporter from one of the larger newspapers called me and asked if I would do an interview.  I said absolutely.

Long story short, they did the interview and then interviewed the administrator of the hospital.  They put him in the hot seat and asked him about offshoring health information to India.  He had no definitive answers to give except that he would have to look at the contract and make sure that it was stipulated that his hospital's work was not sent over seas.

It was a small triumph, but I took some satisfaction in it.  Two weeks after that and just when I thought all the hoopla had died on my little letter, another letter appeared in the newspaper -- from an HIM director at another local hospital who said as a result of reading my letter and interview, that she had received a number of calls from concerned people asking if their medical information was being sent and transcribed overseas.  She wanted to write the letter just to set the record straight that her hospital employed their own MTs and did not outsource to a service nor did they offshore any of their work to third-world countries.

And I'm still not done.  Still a few weeks later another letter in the big city paper was printed from another HIM director assuring the community that her hospital employed its own American MTs and did not outsource or offshore.

Now, everything has quieted down since then, but I managed to ruffle some feathers and make a point, and if I (one person, one middle-aged work-at-home mother of two) can cause that much ruckus -- think what a whole bunch of us can do.

I think we, as a group, need to take control of our industry and our career destiny and do something.  Maybe march on Washington DC protesting the offshoring of American jobs -- not just ours, but ALL American jobs that are being offshored.  There are more Americans out of work and losing work to third-world countries and corporate greed than just MTs!  Our government needs to hear our voices!  We need to MAKE ourselves be heard! 

Instead of sitting back and pasting little smiley faces in our posts and saying good luck with that we need to come together.  There is no room for MTs willing to accept lower wages, no room for MTs whose hearts bleed for our third-world counterparts, and no room for MTs who want to sit back and do nothing, but reap the benefits when the strong win the battle.  We've reached a critical turning point and it's time to take up the cause and change the future.

It was not meant to be nasty. I meant that you should take every job seriously. Just because someo
is their focus does not mean that patients should suffer. 96% accuracy could mean the difference to someone who is on the receiving end of that report. I am NOT QA or management but I am an experienced Transcriptionist who believes that the reports we transcribe need to be accurate for the patient's sake.

Watch out... I've had experience dealing with a company that was partnered with Proveros... they did not pay on time and what they do pay is pathetic...  Stay away, stay far, far away...

If anyone is considering working for Proveros, just know that you will have to wait 30 days before you receive a paycheck, it's in their contract. 
I would also go to the Proveros website and check out the affiliations that are listed. Personally, I was surprised to see several religious organizations listed as affiliates of Proveros.

You are so right!! Sydniee is such a liar and a bitch (you will never get her to respond to you, how they stay is business is a mystery.

I worked for this company for a couple of days and went elsewhere because they offered no benefits.  I was to have received a check on the 30th of July for work done the beginning of July and didn't get it.  After repeated communications, they have told me it has been mailed, overnighted, etc., etc. and I still haven't gotten it.  Now they're telling me it was overnighted today (we'll see) and the amount they told me is way below what it should be and what my time sheet shows.  The president of the company is now emailing me!!!  I have wasted so much time and energy with them and wondered if anyone else has anything to say about them.


I also have had a terrible time getting paid by Proveros.  They keep promising me that the money is in the mail - and it's alot more than what they owe you - but it never seems to show up.  One time they told me it was going to be sent via federal express and I asked for a tracking number and it showed only that a request had been put in - no package had ever actually been picked up for delivery.  I would recommend that you STAY FAR FAR AWAY from this company - they are not honest and either don't pay- or pay very very verylate.

They won't hide from the truth and will tell you that they have paid late on occasion but they have always paid which is more than can be said of many. I reached the owner and he we upfront and took the time to talk and then follow up. Been around for about 3.5 years and growing fast with lots of work. They just started a great program for military spouses and seem very committed to us as MTs. Their only downside is what I said earlier.  You want to work for a company with ethics and has lots of work - it's been great for me
Proveros Payroll
Has anyone out there ever worked or is currently working for Proveros? They say one gets paid after 30 days. It has been six weeks and I am looking to get paid. I feel I've given them ample time to pay me. I wrote an email to the gal in payroll, and she has not replied yet. I would think she would apply right away.
Sounds to me like Proveros
might not be where I would choose to work. It is reprehensible to wrap oneself in the American flag as a marketing ploy. That's one of the cheapest sell-outs there is.

Proveros is a deplorable company to work for for FREE.. Bottom line over and over and over again.. Pay is LATE or NON existent. Whine away girls at Proveros. We all know the deal.
Proveros and recruiter

Has anyone wanted to apply to Proveros but did not due to the person who is the recruiter for that company?  I am wondering as I have heard from friends who did not apply when they noticed the name of the Recruiter.

My best advice regarding Proveros
would be for anybody considering working for them to do a background check on the principals involved and then make your own decision based on what you find.

can someone give some details about the company, especially platform used, ESL ratio, lines required per pay period, and pay period intervals (bimonthly, weekly, etc.)? Thanks for all info!

it was sent by none other than Sheri Steadman, former keeper of this site. Of course I turned down the job - I had already read the postings on this board about pay problems. Upstanding citizen? Me thinks NOT!

Guys, 42, 41, 30 days who cares. Can you see the attitude of the chick who keeps saying stuff is DEFAMATORY...can you imagine dealing with a person like this on a day to day basis and and then again when you DON'T get paid even after 100 days. Bottom line...they don't pay. Avoid this crazy Indian owned company.

anytime the company PROVEROS is mentione THE BIGGEST a can of worms gets opened up. Because they cannot hide from all the MTs they screwed over.just read on below. Is Proveros a good place to work?

Does anybody think this is a good company to work for?  Are they worth putting in a long term investment of time?  Do they pay fair and on time?  Good/bad accounts, run out of work?  I was just wondering if anyone had any information and//or thoughts to share.

Doesn't matter.  To me, the TTS pay scale is too low.  I didn't even bother interviewing with them after they sent me their email outlining the pay structure.
