Thank you for your post.  I am actually surprised at some of the responses I got.... I didn't mean to stir up a can of worms... in case anyone is curious... I am 33 and I am not the problem.... my DH has an issue that requires us to use IVF as the only chance at a child... I have 2 children (11 and 13) whom I love dearly, and I am a great mother... he has no children, and I think he deserves to have one biological child... he is an honest, hard-working, tax-paying citizen... unfortunately, his insurance doesn't cover IVF, and he has an excellent job... there is no way I would make him switch.. it is easier for me to do what I have to get covered... and if I can't.. we will still find a way... but I really think that infertility should be covered more.... because like you said... there are a lot of people out there having babies that they don't want and don't take care of... people who would love the chance to be parents should be able to...


I would be willing to take an insurance that covers ANY part of it... any little bit would help...
