During a conference call for our group, I asked if we could choose between SE and employee on January 1. I was told yes. However, in her response to me, Susan said they were strongly considering implementing statutory employee status because that seemed to be a big request from MDI MTs and even MTs in Transcend. So, as you can see, my answer during the conference call was inaccurate.
If you have questions, simply email Susan Grogan directly. She has invited all MDI MTs to do this. She answered me within an hour. Save her email in your special folder for future reference. At least you will have something in writing.
Again, she told me absolutely not regarding the E&O insurance; only EIN numbers.
