You could prob get a first shift, but not sure about the weekend day. sm

I think possibly you would have to work 1 weekend day. I am not 100% on that though. If you wanted to work 2nd shift, say 2-10 pm or 3-11 pm, you might get a M-F schedule.

I think you can't be. Prob 98% of companies want you to work a weekend day.
I have more time than you and i think you are sorely mistaken in taking that attitude and that you will not get anything nowadays with that specification.
second shift/weekend
I work second/third shift and one weekend day but I do not get a shift diff so the pay is the same either way. I am on SR and only make 0.06 a line. The shift diff would have helped out.
Plus shift and/or weekend differentials.

4.5 with shift & weekend incentives
nm
No more shift/weekend differentials?
I'd love to know how they justify that. They've turned this into your average restaurant job, except with less time on your feet.

So, before the suits show up, let me say that I don't blame you one bit for wanting out of this dead-ender BS. I'm exploring my options myself. Best of luck to you!
shift and weekend differential - sm
Not sure why YOU didn't get this differential, but I DID - no longer though. Just goes to show how many different pay brackets there are at Transcend. So, just because your ROM doesn't know about the pay cut doesn't mean it isn't coming. I got my call last week - some are only getting them now. I hope you don't get it, but forewarned is forearmed.
Companies that pay shift and weekend differentials..???
I work every weekend and also evenings. It takes a lot of sacrifice on my family life and I wondered if any companies out there really do pay a differential to make it worthwhile. Thanks
What is the shift diff for 2nd & 3rd shifts, weekend? Thanks!
nm
None, unless you work both weekend days on the night shift. nm
n
MedWare pays shift and weekend differentials. nm

Webmedx pays weekend and shift differential. nm

Used to be 7.4-7.7 cpl for clinic, 8 cpl for hospital w/1 weekend shift, 10 if U worked entire

TransHealth just implemented an incentive plan, plus shift and weekend differentials. nm

Very good company. Incentive pay for production plus shift and weekend differentials. sm

Their platform is stable (proprietary, I've been on it for about a year and a half now).  Pay is always on time.  Good support staff.  Their insurance changed this year.  Plenty of work.  They don't overhire on their accounts from what I can see.  If anything, there is always plenty of work, which I like because I can hop on outside of my regular shift and get some more lines.  Now that they pay extra for weekends, I like to pick up some extra hours then.

A 3-day weekend every weekend? Wouldn't that be nice. Good luck with that!..nm

No prob...

I probably overreacted to your post..there is usually so much negativity on these boards which is why I don't post often but I felt maybe I could contribute something to the discussion and tried to be straightforward and just felt like I got dumped on..which I am sure you didn't mean...anyway after reading a few more posts am thinking it may be more a PC issue than a dictaphone...which is really too bad because I have a new computer budgeted for myself sometime in late 2015..

take care.
Has ALWAYS been a prob for some
I worked for Transform for their first 6 yr of operation (was 1st employee) & I would spend weeks trying to make enough to make it worthwhile. There were 2-3 years out of that 6 that I made halfway decent money & then they went from MDintouch to Vscript & that went out the window. If they are not thrilled w/your work (when I worked for them I saw this frequently) they would just not send it to you - happened to a couple of my co-MTs. Then they would send you some & be on your backside when you didn't have it done quickly w/o ever contacting you to let you know there was some there for you. And MANY times they would send me 20 reports at a time or so & if I didn't have them done in an hour or so (I spent more time waiting for down & uploading than actual typing - which is of course free time - no pay) they would disappear to somebody else. So working for them resulted in a lot of waiting for work. How are things now? Just wondering. I quit in 1/06 & was the smartest move I made in my career.
This is true. Shift does matter. I work 2nd shift and really have not had any issues with not havi

The prob w/ProScript is (sm)
absolutely no communication. Didn't the email in December say there'd be tons of work by mid Feb?
no prob's w/vista and mdi.

Thanks..1200/day no prob. Can you tell me more about schedule with Ax? Thanks again SM
Is it hard to get time off? I may need a few days off in the first year. I have a supervisor now who is a pain, so I'm not too worried about that aspect.
3rd shift radiology can be like that. Feast or famine. Same with 3rd shift sm
ER work. Sometimes the doctors are too busy to dictate, so they do it at the end. Why don't you talk to them and ask about a different shift?
True to a point. But I think not nearly the prob it is with offshore men. Most US men don't

Here is a link (prob forgot to put in MEDICAL?

I have and it worked great for me using mouse controls. No prob.

Ya know, even if I spend time during my shift or after that shift

it is still MY time, expected by the company, and I am not getting paid for it regardless.  I don't answer my phone while I am working, never did, never will.  What other profession, while probably punching a clock, do folks work for free?  If I worked in an office doing this, that time would be paid - say 15 minutes a day x 5 days a week at even $10/hour =   $50 a month - and it is more time spent than that to deal with the email thing and the reminders and the changes in specifics and logging in and out of 3 different accounts when primary is out of work.  GRRR.

I don't change jobs easily either, glad you are happy where you are - but producing 1400 lines of ACCURATE text will end my career soon (and probably yours also) and then what are we all to do?  My goal is not to work more, work harder and longer hours to produce a salary I can live on.

They pay well 10 cpl days, 11 cpl 2nd shift, 12 for 3rd shift
1300 lines a day required, 65 character line. They have benefits. Don't know much else.
I have worked both 3rd shift and day shift (SM)
including what you call banker's hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). I ran out of work more often on 3rd than I do now on the day shift.
THE WEEKEND IS HERE

Is everybody working this weekend. We need everyone to be working because THERE IS NO WORK.

1 weekend day is okay, but
requiring both is a little much. No matter what schedule I work, usually with 1 weekend day, I get pestered to work all 7, or to do 2 or 3 hours over the 8 to 10 I did already. Some of these companies would have no problem having you sit at your keyboard with an an IV bag attached to you. :)~
I weekend
I am not surprised at all.
I can and I will this weekend....
You can send me one too....let me know how it's going so far.
Is it usually weekend OT -- sm
or weekday OT or a combination?
Weekend
If there is a shift differential, that is news to me.  I do not receive anything for nights or weekends other than regular pay.  Maybe it is something for new hires only??
Weekend usually seems better.
It always seems like Friday and Saturday are busy. Maybe everyone can make up some lines. I've had an okay week. Ran out of work here and there. I am just getting nervous as we approach holiday season and the hiring of the new employees. I am looking for a 2nd job right now.
no weekend work - sm
Sounds like Transcend!
weekend woes
Do all these nationals expect weekend work every stinking weekend? As a reward for working all our hours during the week? Is anyone else sick of working constantly and never feeling they can take off a weekend without guilt??? Do these supervisors, managers work every stinking weekend too? I doubt it. The thing that stinks about working from home is that you are always working.....can't get a day off...anyone else sick of this???
I understand weekend help is necessary, both I just
nm
There are MTs out there who are looking for weekend work...sm

I guess I don't understand your complaint with the company posting that ad.  They have a need they need to fill, and it might be the right fit for somebody.

There would be no weekend TV, movies,
bars, etc., for entertainment. Might be a good way for families to learn to communicate again, though.
Weekend work...

Contact docQmed.  I am one of his clients and am always looking for weekend warriors.

THANKS!!!!!! Have a great weekend!

Weekend requirement
Is any two weekend days per month. Friday PM shift also counts as a weekend.
weekend work.....
What position are you interested in?  If you do read the previous posts, just ignore them...of course they are all ex-employees who left on a bad note with the company.  If you would like you can contact me concerning a position with Shapin.
Regarding their ER/Weekend Ad on Job Board.
Wonder if they still provide the computer and all those benefits for the 24 hour week?  Anyone do this currently or know?  Thanks!
Do you still have to work every 4th weekend or is

weekend work

Are there any companies who will allow you to work both weekend days as part of a regular schedule.  I am looking for a reliable company, at leat 8.5 cpl, employee status and one where work flow is regular.  I realize there are always slow downs in this industry but searching for a company where you are not consistently running out of work. I prefer to work both Sat and Sun to allow me 2 days off during the week. I know this is unusual. I have an IC job.  Love the flexiblity but I need benefits.

I didn't think I would like the weekend day
but I can knock out my required lines in three hours and still have plenty of weekend left.
weekend work
I picked a Sun-Thur schedule so I plan to work Sun after dinner, and get my weekend in first...
Yes occasional OT on weekend, but then

little to none during the week.  The account that lost a work type is sending other work types, but lines/minutes no where close to what was lost.  The account that sends all the work, we also inherited their MTs, so no more work for current MTs.
