I'm guessing you are talking about Webmedx .
they do not type in radnet, they have their own software. Radnet is used for macros, search patient's, etc.
Is a hiring manager the same thing as a recruiter?
?
I'm not a manager/recruiter or CMTme. I'm a fellow MT who keeps a huge Word file of all this s
s
just guessing - you work for medquist...
b
Saw that too...WOW. I am guessing it is subcontracted work
if all she can offer is 6 cpl.
Hey gourdpainter. Do you even work at TT? I am guessing no.
Why then are you constantly bashing them?
I did speak with my manager. Work was promised. No work there when I needed to work.
I see the reports everyday too, but when I get work it is of bad quality, then there is no work unless I work diffrent shifts. Thank you.
Yeah she's happy. She was a recruiter for Spheris, now for Webmedx.
nm
I believe she said the account manager, someone at her work
I thought I read that the OP said that the person at her work was getting angry with people asking questions. That's who I meant.
I am never out of work. I would mention this to your manager. sm
They are hiring because they have a lot of openings and must not realize that you do not have work.
I work at Focus and still have an Indian manager
.
I am disappointed too, but then again, the new operations manager used to work sm

at Medquist, so obviously outsourcing would not be something unfamiliar to him.  I have worked with them for over a year, and I truly believed the family thing that was pushed, but it does not have that feeling anymore.  I need to talk to Tonya, but my gut feeling is to walk away, just scrape it off like something bad on my shoe and move on.

I'm sure you can find something else.  The great thing about this industry is you can always find another job.  It may not be ideal and exactly what you want at the time, but something to get by until the right one comes along.

Good luck!

I know I made over $60K as a QA manager. An MT manager
I am told is less money but definitely NOT as low as $36,500. I would not do it for $36,500.

The majority that I hear and see (and many are not advertised) are around $45K. You are giving yourself away for that. You might be working for a company that I received an offer from at one time. Great people but could not afford to work for that kind of money. Way too low to be on call 24/7.
I am guessing NJ.
ss
I'm guessing that
with all the qualified people who frequent this site, you could start a business and grow into a decent sized companies (finding employees here!).

It would be a lot of work but might be well worth it!
Guessing

I think it depends on your Team Leader and the account, but I know of people that do work 4-hour shifts on 2nd or 3rd shift.  I don't personally know of anyone at Focus who works a dayshift, though there could be some.

Guessing.
I am left to guessing, as there are no responses to my emails.  I don't trust myself to phone them, as I would likely not be able to disguise my extreme anger.   I had good evaluations from the Indian gentleman who used to be our account manager/Team Leader, so it isn't that I'm bad.  However, I have decided to interpret the situation as a blessing, a motivator to get me to finally find a better position, and move on to a better MT life.
I work in QA and my recruiter was a man and I
was not hired from within. I love my job!!! The recruiter was from the Webmedx side too, not from the TransHealth side.
How about Florida - am guessing
we are part of the Tri-state
By "account" I'm guessing you only have one?
Why haven't you asked for a secondary or even a third? That would surely get you better results than simply posting your lack of work here.
Not 100% sure but I am guessing a company in

Each company is different, but if guessing, I

We work well with our recruiter who also is on salary. We have
open communication and we allow her to do what is necessary to get us the best MTs possible and she has. We do not have a revolving door and never have. We personally have received compliments on the way she has handled our potential MTs and the ones we have hired. One part of her job though is to be liason between those MTs that are hired and the mgmt staff and in doing so, whatever that might be wrong (very little has been) can be fixed. So far all are happy and we are happy. Even though she does not work in the office, we have open communication daily and any questions that need answering are fully answered. All paperwork is shared through our server so it is not necessary to have the paperwork in office for one thing because we trust her.
I knew a recruiter who used to work there. SM
she said run very fast from SoftScript.
Your dictators are clear, and there's *no guessing at all*??

So if you get one that isn't so clear, does that mean you *guess*??

I'm guessing English is your second language? I would say this is a
disservice to the MT as well as the companies you are going to service. Nothing worse than someone trying to sail the ship who hasn't ever been near the water.
Just guessing but it might be the woman who owns KS??
nm
I am guessing that the OP meant the queue
shut off means she can see there are jobs there, but when she clicks to get them, she gets nothing. Either that or suddenly the jobs go from a large amount to 0 all the way down. I have experienced both. Don't know if it is queue shut off or work manipulation by sups.
Approximately how big is Transcend now? I am guessing (sm)
MQ, Spheris and now Transcend, but as I said this is only a guess.  Anyone else?
Keystrokes has great ortho accounts and a wonderful manager over the ortho work. sm
I have worked with them for 4 years and will never leave unless something drastically changes. I do not post here normally as it seems that there are so many negative people, but this is one I felt I could answer without being attacked.
Not just MT, any computer skills, paperwork, etc. could be difficult. I am just guessing. (nm)
.
Thank you. The recruiter was very informative. I specifically asked about work flow
as the company I am at now runs out almost daily, in part, I believe, as a result of being a mix of straight typing and VRE. I prefer straight typing over VRE anyway. TT is offering more per line and offers incentive and shift differential, which is something I don't get currently. Im excited to start working with them.
I know we have clinic work but not sure about the Part time. Call a recruiter. nm
.
I'm guessing the reason these companies won't put their names is afraid they will get bashed.
I'm not sure why else they wouldn't be proud enough to put their company name. Pretty sad..
Webmedx - low work ? Can you make up lines when work available (sm)
or do you have to schedule a make up time or just do without the lines?
This is very interesting. I work in QA for Webmedx. There is NO WORK
Why would they be testing for additional editors when there isn't enough work for those of us who work there now!

I've been smelling something fishy here for a long time now, this just confirms that something is going on that they are not being honest about.
I DON'T work for WebMedX. My cpl
is not part of an incentive plan, 10 cpl is my normal pay, 12 cpl for weekends.
Anyone work for Webmedx?
I would like some recent input on this company.  Thanks.
I also work for Webmedx sm
and the platform is slow. I am tired of them telling me it is my ISP. I don't believe that. My lines are falling as well. Don't know what to tell you, but I am in the very same boat you are. Good luck. By the way I have been at Webmedx nearly 4 years.
I work at Webmedx. nm

For those that work for Webmedx how did the
computer ship?   I am supposed to start training next week and don't have the computer yet.   Just wondering if it ships via FedEx, UPS, or some other method.   I'll call Monday to double check on it.
No Work At Webmedx!
Don't waste your time.
I work at Webmedx (sm)
I work at Webmedx and really like it. The platform is very easy to use. When you are first hired you get a week of training to get used to the platform, account specifics, etc., before you are placed on production pay. The company provides many tools to help you be productive (normals stored in the platform, productivity classes, the ability to search past reports, dictation samples provided, etc.). I was hired right out of school so I know that I started on the bottom of the pay scale. They do offer an incentive program based on total lines per week and pay shift differentials for evenings and weekends. You get a flexible 12-hour window, and the benefits are pretty good compared to what other MTSOs are offering. They are really looking for MTs right now so you would not be sitting around and waiting for them to call you back like the other poster mentioned. I was called back right away after my interview. If you have any other specific questions, feel free to e-mail me.

WebMedX- NO WORK?
Anyone else hired for WebMedx recently only to find absolutely NO WORK available?
WebMedx, for those who run out of work . . .
What shifts are you running out of work on?  What work types are running out?
No work at Webmedx
Do not waste your time applying, there is no work. They overhire. I have to struggle to get my hours in.....Too bad cause they are all so darn nice.
Currently, no work at Webmedx. FYI
;(
I work at Webmedx
There was a short period of time where work was very low while a new account was getting ready to go live and work was being scattered to new MTs (the norm), but now that we have gone live, I never run out of work. I have a primary, secondary, and tertiary account (rarely ever see my tertiary).

I am very happy here and cannot say anything bad about this company. When work is low during the day hours, you just have to accommodate and work a couple hours in the evening or maybe a few hours on your day off at the end of the week, which doesn't bother me. At least the work is there. :)

Webmedx has ONLY domestic MTs. There is no offshoring.
I work at Webmedx too...
I run out of work on a daily basis. I have 4 accounts and cycle through them all day long if there is work. I so am tired of the double standard of my STM telling me that I need to work a set 8-hour schedule when there is work but who expects me to flex within my 12-hour window when work is low. I don't want to be chained to my computer for 60 hours a week waiting for work... Maybe that's fine with some, but I have a life outside of work and can't just work whenever there happens to be some jobs in my pool.
Work at WebmedX is very low. Many sm
people CANNOT get their lines in even with flexing. There are a couple of accounts that are steady, which the OP must fortunately have, but most are not. Just thought you should know. The Web definitely overhires--has done so consistently in the 3 years I have been there, but work volumes for the last 6 months or so are the worst I've seen yet.
no work at Webmedx
I agree with you Flabbergasted and I also think that our STM's shouldnt troll this board if they do not wish to hear how we feel.  The old saying that eavesdroppers always hear ill of themselves really applies here.  I have had no work for over a week now.  I received a chipper little email telling me that if I was part time or if I HAD A HUSBAND WHO SUPPORTED ME (WTF???) to please flex for the rest of the week!  What is this? the 1950's at the Cleaver residence???  Then just for fun our manager goes on an 11 day vacation and we still have NO INFORMATION!  Great.  Wonderful.  And please, please all of you happy little folks out there that are praying us back into higher work volumes, please no need to respond.  I know you believe that we can all just click our heels and wish ourselves into a happier work environment.  I prefer to actually know what is going on at the facility, even if it means not being employed anymore.  The not knowing and waiting around for someone to get back from their vacation to tell us something, is the worst.
