You apply to an MTSO.  You do not know if it is a subcontracting company or not.  They accept you for testing, you pass the tests and are given a contract to sign.  Only then, in the contract, they disclose that they are a subcontractor and how low their pay is. 


As one is in desperate need for a job and having gone already through all the testing and troubles, one might accept.


Had you been hired by the company that hired the subcontracting MTSO, your pay would be much higher for the same work.


This is a misrepresentation by the subcontracting MTSO. The subcontractor is paid for 'weeding' out the candidates that 'do not qualify', supposedly.


The subcontracting MTSO should disclose right away what they are, so that the MTs can decide to get tested ot not.
