i did not mean to offend. I read the whole thread and simply chose yours to respond to, though it was aimed at the whole. but with my comment about paycheck to paycheck -- please don't take it personally -- as it was not meant that way. i've been there too. but in this line of work and in this SE or IC capacity, one really needs to develop the $ cushion, don't you agree? At least it helps alleviate the worry/stress. And to the other poster, as well, i too get concerned when work stays low too long -- get to wondering all the what-if's. but after multi-multi years at this and life in general, i do try to remain patient and calm, esp when i am with a company i feel i can trust and who cares about us. (not so with my previous MQ) but when i saw the post of an (apparent) outsider that was shocked people were implying there was lack of communication here -- i felt i had to step in and give some information. We're all in this boat together, and again, am sorry if i came across as having an attitude.
