If you get notification of when the visit will be, try to have the 'witness' to the incident of your husband smoking weed with the kids there.

Split up the house/apartment into rooms and you and the kids each take a section and clean it. Splitting it up 3 ways won't be nearly as overwhelming.

Be careful about tossing the husband's stuff. Depending on where in the legal process your separation/divorce may be, he could potentially sue you for monetary compensation for items you dispose of (especially if claims the 'old magazines' were 'valuable collectibles' and irreplaceable). If you have a garage, just shuffle all of his stuff out there. Personally, I'd contact Legal Aid or another free legal advice resource to make sure you're covered before disposing of ANY of his belongings.

And the next time he shows up, don't answer the door. You have a RESTRAINING ORDER against him. If he's out front or knocking on the door, report him to the authorities.
