I guess I just get frustrated the way things get just handed to some people. Last summer, the ex worked a total of 9 days; granted, he made good money as he is a union heavy equipment operator (a total of about $2500), but still, it was just 9 days. He ended up collecting unemployment of $150/week for 28 weeks. Granted, it's only $600/month, which I couldn't really exist on, but it's just a little more that he could party on while I'm struggling to keep the insurance on my car.

I feel a little bit better to know that I'm not the only one out there. I think I hate the fact that it makes me feel this way as much as I hate the actual circumstance.
