Here's what I did and doing again.

A few years ago, after hysterectomy, I gained weight and decided I was going to lose it to buy a new dress for a Mardi Gras ball.  I cut all my portions even when I went out to eat (because always on the go) I would cut a hamburger in half and give it away so I would not eat it.  I drank a lot of water and tea.  No carbonated drinks as I heard it slow dow the metabolism and have not had a carbonated drink in 7 years. I also did 15 minutes of exercise in front of the TV every day even if it was just walking in place. I treated myself on weekends and ate what I wanted as long it was a SERVING as listed on label. I lost 15-20 lbs in three months. 


Well I got lazy again and gain it back over the years and feel horrible and am back to trying this again. My husband and I have a bet on who will reach their goal weight first.  He is good at the exercise part but terrible on the eating part and I am just the opposite so we try to encourage each other.  Let us know how you are doing.
