You are making assumptions she needs so and so- she might just wish to be left alone for awhile. You sound pushy- stay away- don�t intrude- let her come around to you- I don�t know if it is her first but if so, pretty soon she would be more than happy for anyone to say- oh can I hold your baby - just to have a second to yourself- give her the time she has asked for.
