I'm with you 100%...

There's not always something *nice* to say about a situation, and this is one of them...No way on God's green earth would I send my precious child off to live with someone whom I hate/hates me! No sport is worth that...come on now! In the long run, what will the child gain from playing for this one particular coach? Compared to what he's losing by NOT being raised by his mother, it's not worth it. 

And I agree with the statement that when an animal's rights are in question, WHOA...don't do that, but when it's a child...oh well, it's just a KID, a human BEING with feelings and emotions and NEEDS that only a flesh-and-blood parent can fulfill....

So NO, sometimes the cold, hard truth is the only way to go...no sense in glossing over it with the nicey-nice junk....
