I meant antibiotics given for second phase

Does that make sense? Some can be hospitalized because of developing pneumonia from the flu and are given antibiotics to treat pneumonia, but antibiotics are only good for bacterial pneumonia, not viral pneumonia.

The WHO raised it to a phase/level 4 now. A phase
5 is pandemic. SARS never made it to a level 4, so it's getting scary now.
I wish they would let the breed just phase out
that being the pit bull. There was an unprovoked attack on a man in our city a few weeks ago but 3 pits. He said glad not a child- could not have survived. He wound up in the hospital. I do not like them being put down per se, just wish each spayed and/or neutured and that would take care of everything. Too vicious to be around me, even the so called "sweet" ones.
The hyper-religious phase
The world's hyper-religious phase is almost out of style, but it has been a long run don't you think?

I taught sunday school for years and I was considered not "religious enough." The next generations will not care for all the "in your face" stuff either.

All the same, you still have a lot to do to get down to two trucks and looks like DH is ready to leave yesterday! So I won't pray for you, but I will say get busy!
antibiotics can cause--sm
a yeast infection because: they kill all the *good bacteria* a body needs to fend off such infections, as well as the *bad* bacteria. That is what antibiotics CAN or MAY cause yeast infections.

Fabric softeners CAN or MAY contribute to yeast infections because: They put a coating of a wax-type material on your clothes to reduce static and to make them feel softer. This coating on your clothes, particularly women's undies, reduces the body's ability to *breathe*. Moist, warm places which cannot be relieved by oxygen are good breeding grounds for these types of infections. Therefore, fabric softeners have been linked to yeast and vaginal infections.
antibiotics . . .
I heard a report that we are building up resistance to antibiotics due to extensive amounts given to livestock, thus it is in our meat and dairy.
Best to avoid sun if on any antibiotics
nm
That's possible, but I actually very rarely take antibiotics

This is an exception - I have been running a low-grade fever off and on this entire time, so I know something is going on, whether it's just inflammation or an infection.

In talking to the doc on this last visit, we figured out that my problem is mainly an allergy to molds. We had an extremely wet late spring/early summer (it broke previous records for number of straight days of rain) and my symptoms began shortly afterward. I have noticed that many times my symptoms begin the day after it rains.

I feel better today, for the first time in a LONG time. I don't know if it is due to the fact that I took the last of the antibiotic yesterday, or that I spent almost all day yesterday in bed resting.

I am going to see about getting tested for allergies, including an allergy to mold. I've done a bit of netsurfing and there are treatments for that, but they aren't effective for everyone. After what I've been through the past two months, though, I am certainly willing to give it a try!

I talk to the doctor about the possibility of a fungal infection, also. Is there a test for it? (I am a radiology MT, don't know as much about the clinical side)

I am lactose intolerant so I haven't drunk milk in years, but I do eat ice cream and cheese and foods with milk-based sauces. I probably should try to avoid those when I'm having a sinus flare-up.

Thanks for your suggestion. I hadn't thought of the possibility of a fungus. I will certainly investigate it.

Of course antibiotics can't cure you...
the flu is a VIRUS. I think that everyone is getting far too upset about this.
Sorry.. I meant
to say that they will assess a penalty on you this year. If you are unable to pay back the loan amount, prior to the end of the calendar year, the IRS will expect penalty fees. Your 401K company is obligated by law to turn this information over. If you close out your account, expect to have up to 40% withheld.
Meant to add
It seems as though almost all treatments for cancer have side effects which include a possibility of cancer later in life.
Oh, meant to say
I was going for guardenship of my father - set to be filed in court on Monday and he was killed going to see this woman over the weekend. I had no qualms about having the courts to step in, wanted them to because he did not want to listen to me, his only living child and next of kin.
I don't think she meant this towards the OP, but to --sm

Meant to ask you below
Could you tell me what an M-team and an S-team are? Also, do you know what an LEA is? It may be that we are in different states and the terms are interchangeable with something I have heard of (I think I read something about an SST team, may not be the correct letters though).

Glad you were able to get things to go your way! We have always been pleased in the past and our son has always progressed very well in their programs, receiving A's and B's on his report cards and major behavior improvements, but they missed the mark on this one, and when my husband signed acceptance of their plan after their refusal to try what we thought would be best for him, he told them what would happen and his prediction has come true.
Perhaps this was meant for OP?
Not sure why you would intend it for moderator--didn't see anything in mods post that you had to stop.
Sorry, I meant --looking at it the right way--- no msg

LOL -Yep, what is what I MEANT to say - sm
Running on no sleep and just not making sense. I stand corrected!
it's exactly what she meant, you know.

Well.....I meant....sm
the time before the first ice age. Kinda of hard to believe that we are heading to an ice age when temperatures around this part of the country can top 100+ degrees in the summer and stay up as high as 70 in the winters. Weird weather.....

Anyhoo.....I also like to melt about a half block of the big block of Velveeta and add a can of chili to it and heat through until bubbly. Really good with Fritos, too!
I meant...
I know someone with a dog that gets loose often, and sometimes it is beyond your control.
Well it is according to how he meant...sm
how he meant it. If he wasn't playing around and was serious then I would be mad. I mean you never want to call your child names.
yes, that's what I meant - Thanks!

There's no debate because I am not arguing against ESC research.
All she meant
was please don't put it in the subject line...I didn't watch either show until this afternoon, so when I scrolled down and saw "Talking about AI" (or whatever the OP said) I just skipped it and came back tonight and read it after I had watched. That's all.

I meant to say

When I looked back at my post, I meant to say my mom is the only person we will leave a sick child with if we absolutely have to go somewhere, not that if we absolutely have to leave them with her.  My mom is a retired nurse, as well as having great mom common sense after raising 4 kids with all the mumps, measles, chicken pox, colds, flu, etc that goes along with it.  She's also close enough to pick them up from school if need be.  It's just worked out really good for all of us.  Like I said, I think she and the kids would have missed out on a lot if she had lived far away.

Thank you! That's what I meant. nm

I said I competed when I meant to say He...sorry!
No way in this world could I stand in front of a crowd and make an impromptu speech. Give me something to read or act out and I am there but just flying by the seat of my pants, never.
You know what the poster meant

sorry, meant 2 southerners

I meant Tanmama - why do they have to (sm)
make everyone else think they are so good but have us to treat badly? Do they thing God doesn't know??
I dont think she meant anything...sm
rude towards you by what she said. I think she was just letting you know how some doctors feel. I did work as a nurse for 15 years prior to transcription and she is right. Some doctors just hate it when a suggestion is made by someone other than themselves even a nurse, they do not like it and also will not listen or suggest the same thing. Some, not all seem to think only they know best. I do agree with one of the other posters that a good doctor is a doctor that listens to you. Good luck and I do hope you feel better soon.
I meant lives near me - sorry. NM

I meant by her emotions...everyone knows.
She is very moody. I do keep very close tabs on my daughter. I don't feel the need to put her under a microscope as of yet, but as she gets older I may have to do that.
LOL! That's what I meant....should've
kept my kitty instead of getting married....too late schmart!
meant *my* generation......

I knew what you meant
You know I did not even notice that, and I knew what you meant! I work third shift so believe me, I was in tune with what you were thinking...I get up too early every day.

No, I meant the other thing...
I only use Yahoo occasionally, so I'm useless there. I meant on here. I'm not noticing that I'm having any problems, so I was wondering what problems you were having.
That's what I thought you meant.
I've done that before.  As I said, it just doesn't work.  I've spanked them before, and an hour later they're right back at it.
Oops! Meant THANK YOU!!! LOL!

I never meant to imply...
that you wanted to put down a healthy animal, I just have a hard time putting one down at all, to be honest. We do not euthanize our elderly relatives and it is possible that, given the decision, the dog might just choose to stick around, but we will never know. I know that it is a difficult decision and my point was that maybe you should let your mother make that decision.
I meant to reply to OP. nm

I believe she meant we could all share SM
our personal experiences or random thoughts.

I agree with comment about Angelina Jolie.

Some of us may not remember our "first time" or perhaps even care too. >)
Just meant I did not have hundreds now to go out and buy a dog -
I know there will be upkeep costs - just that my income has changed drastically since the time before when I was able to plop down $700 upfront for a cute little pomeranian or $500 for that cutsie little Shih Tzu -

I just want a dog - just wanted some advice on the best kind for apartment living that would not be too expensive upfront to get at this point.
