The wife is the last to know. I do not know many who would want to reveal this heartbreaking news and be subjected to "shoot the messenger."

Talk with his secretary and take some time to be with him at work. Watch for sexual tension. If not true, great. If true, end if before there are irreversible consequences (like love).
