Principal Secret
anyone tried this skin care product?  How'd you like it?  Thinking about ordering, but not sure.  Thanks for feedback...
Principal Secret
I have been using Principal Secret products for over 7 years. I quit the membership though because I simply wasn't using it enough to justify needing a supply shipped to me when they felt it was time, but rather just purchase it when I need it. Like the other poster stated, it is still cheaper than high-end cosmetics at high-end department stores. Principal Secret has a "bottom of the jar" guarantee also, so you can order straight from them, try the product, use it "all" and return it for a full refund if you do not like the product. Having sensative skin and not being able to use any form of foundation, I love their tinted moisturizer (very much lighter in color than chart), but I only use it in the wintertime due to being outside and getting tanned in the summer. I, however, also use all their skin cleanser products and the serum, as stated above, is absolutely wonderful. I do not like the eye cream though, it seems to irritate my skin. After using the tinted moisturizer in the winter, I follow it with the tinted loose powder by Mary Kay Products for a matted finish. Mary Kay loose powder does not irritate my skin nor does it clog my pores.
Principal Secret products work really well nm

Reclaim. Yes, I use it.
I like it and let me tell you my husband jokingly says my bathroom is like a beauty store, so I've pretty much tried everything.

I used the Jane Seymour product before this, the Natural Advantage, and ended up tossing it. It was so harsh I guess because of the alpha hydroxy acids (or AHA or whatever that is). I would not recommend that one.

This one has less harsh ingredients. It also differs from other products in that I actually do see results; evening out skin tone and moisturizing well enough, yet decreasing oily areas, etc. It seems to seep into the skin deeper rather than just lay on it, if you know what I mean.

I am 42 and was just starting to see some changes in my skin, nothing really major so may not have the best testimonial for it.

At first I thought it was a lot of money and did not want to commit to a club and pay every month, but I've used less expensive stuff from drug stores that didn't do much. And it is still cheaper than the department store high-end stuff that doesn't do what they say it will.

Why not give it a try for a month, the initial trial is only a 1-month supply for around 35.00 with shipping and you can always cancel if you don't want to continue it.
I love her products, but I don't use Reclaim (sm)
I haven't ordered any lately -thanks for the reminder! Her moisturizer is so good that when I stopped using it for a while, people started asking me what was wrong - did I feel bad, etc? LOL. Oh and the enzyme mask is amazing!! There is also a skin tightening serum that works really well. It's all good stuff. You can become a member and get three products a month at a really good price.
Call the principal as well
It's nice to hear someone be concerned about a child who is not their own. I agree with the other posters, call the adviser, but after that I would call the principal and reiterate my concerns for this student and the possible consequences of giving her free rant space.
The article said he had to get the principal's -sm
signature on a form allowing him to go, which the principal did sign (which says he can go obviously) but then said, well if you go you will be suspended even though I said it was okay. What total nits.
I would have a meeting with principal or teacher.

Wow, how inappropriate of that teacher!  I would definitely talk to the teacher's higher ups or to the teacher personally.  That is unacceptable.  Your poor daughter!  Could she possibly be switched to another class instead of swimming for now?  That gym teacher seriously crossed the line into territory that was none of his/her(?) business and will probably continue to do it to her and others if no one stops him/her(?).  I would be very upset if I were you too!

principal should not have signed the form
if the student was not allowed to go. By signing the form, he gave permission. Therefore, the student should have no problems getting his diploma. He has the principal's signature saying it was okay to go, which is better than words saying he should not go.
Followup - phone call with the principal....sm
I sent an e-mail to the principal this morning outlining my displeasure with the results of yesterday's meeting and CC'd our school board representative. Within a few minutes the principal was on the phone and asked me what I wanted them to do to educate our child. I told her that they're the educators, not me, and that they need to be the ones to figure out a reasonable game plan to get her caught up and educated during the school day. She then reiterated that they don't have the resources to work with her exclusively and won't unless she gets at least 6 months behind, at which point they'd then test her for potential learning disabilities and screen for special education consideration.

The school board representative sent me an e-mail that she'll be calling me tomorrow to discuss the situation. Hopefully by making the school board know that I'm not happy someone will intervene to educate her now and not wait 4 more months to give serious consideration.

Of note, my sister lives an hour away and her school district is completely different. Her son is ADD and is now a junior in high school. All throughout his elementary, middle and high school years there the teachers and schools have been great about working with her and him to keep him out of special education classes, and when needed at times they got parapros to work with him. I hear so many flip-flop stories about school systems and how some really work well with parents and meeting needs and others don't want to do what they're required to do until forced to do so.

We are hoping to be able to move out of our district hopefully next summer but that will depend on whether or not we can get our house sold. Rest assured that we won't move to a new area without my making sure that the schools my daughter will attend are willing to work with us to keep her out of special education and mainstreamed.
I totally agree with you... did you get a response from the principal?
x
I agree with moral principal and ethical value
Yes! Our leader should have those without a doubt.
Bless your heart, they were talking about paying on principal
and that is when I talked about paying also. Don't hate. I have been in bad shape before. When I was there, I worked and worked and worked to make my ends meet and now, well what can I say? Again, not good to have hate in your heart.
Should definitely be reported to principal/school board. Ridiculous!
.
Make a fuss to school board, principal, teachers, dept. of child welfare (sm)
whoever you need to. I understand these are difficult to get rid of but obviously the mom of that little girl is not getting rid of them, maybe she treats the child but if you don't clean up the environment reinfestation is a sure thing.

We got a letter from the school yesterday stating there is a lice outbreak in the school. Then we had a program last night in which all the 3rd graders put on these little capes (that came out of a community bag where they had used them before at practice and then bagged them back up) They of course went over their heads and rested on their shoulders. I wasn't the only person that sucked in air when they saw this last night.

I am sure that poor child is and will be embarrassed about this and probably other things in the future if her health/hygiene issues are not being taken care of properly.

The Secret
I've heard a lot about "The Secret" and Oprah's show today is all about it if anyone's interested.  It's about the laws of attraction and how to attract more abundance and positives into your life.  This sounds interesting.
the secret
I was offered The Secret by special price from another site that I use daily and purchased the dvd. It is very well done and very informative. Please see it.
The Secret DVD
Is the DVD available in stores?
THE SECRET
Have you seen the movie The Secret? If you haven't it is a very good movie to watch. Not only for marriage, but for life. Good luck.
THE SECRET = YOU
It is not just being grateful for what you have; it is your outlook on life. The power of positive thinking. If you think you can't do something or you aren't happy etc. you have already set your limitations. You really have to watch the movie to understand what they are teaching you. Something so simple, yet many people lose sight of it.

You typed "I have always been grateful for what I have, and no better things are coming my way, I can assure you." You have spoken that into existence and nothing better will come your way. (Not trying to be rude, just making a point).

I am grateful for my husband, my kids being healthy and my job as an MT working for a wonderful company, and I look forward to many more happy years.

Sorry, what is the secret to
start with? Don’t know this.
Can you keep a secret like this?
Attorneys kept secret for 26 years that their client committed a murder. An innocent man was charged/tried/convicted for the murder.

Secret Shopper
Email me at reginahare1@hotmail.com and I can give you some sites.
My secret is staying out of the sun

and wearing a hat or slathering on a crapload of sunscreen!  I got totally fried when I worked for a nursery (plants) back in the early 1990's and my ears burnt so bad they they actually got a tad deformed around the edges!  I love outdoors time but I'll be darned if the sun is gonna be the cause of my demise!

Besides, I'm a superfreak when it comes to medical stuff.  I love researching all sorts of medical crap and that nasty IUD just stuck in my head from my days in Anatomy and Physiology 101.

I also have a fetish for bugs too and someday, before I die, I'd love to play entomologist or something queer like that.

secret shopper
I do this in my spare time, and I am with Shop-N-Chek. I have not had any problems with them. If I want to do a shop, I do one. If I don't, I don't. You do an initial survey and they match you up with potential shops in your area. You can even do them on vacation if you have the zip code for where you are going. The website is shopnchek.com.
secret shopping
Do you make pretty good money doing this?  Is it worth taking the time or do you just do it for fun?  I went to the website you listed and am seriously considering joining...more info would be very much appreciated...
Shshshsh! That's my secret.

Do You Have a Secret Ingredient?

Do you have a recipe that you add or substitute an ingredient to make it special?

When I make pecan pies I sub half the amount of the corn syrup with Kahlua. I'm going to switch it up this year and sub it with Godiva liqueur for a chocolate flavor. I also add a couple of tablespoons of brandy to my pumpkin pies.

Secret ingredient sm

My family does not eat meat stuffing, so I use Pepperidge Farm preseasoned bread stuffing but instead of water per directions. I use either orange juice, cranberry juice, or both. I used to use chicken broth but after dieting, I found I could taste the grease. I also throw in a tiny bit of sliced apple, cranberry and raisin, not overpowering, just a hint, then of course, I chop up an onion and some celery. We have nut allergies, otherwise I would add some walnuts. People said they would kill for my stuffing. I mix it up and cook it in a separate casserole dish in the oven, cover with foil for about 15 min., then lift the foil and let brown a little, and butter, oh yes, plenty of butter, it doesn't taste greasy. My one vice is butter, usually holidays.

keeping a secret
taking addiction too seriously is a mistake. Keeping it a dirty little secret is a mistake. Hiding "Pa" in the basement because he is an embarrassment is a mistake. There is NOTHING shameful about being addicted to a substance. I hardly think there is one person on this board who does not know someone on antidepressants or takes them and that is considered healthy? But medicating depression with vodka is shameful?

The best disinfectant is light.
That's the big secret? I saw some of that Oprah and got bored.
I have always been grateful for what I have, and no better things are coming my way, I can assure you. Maybe it's some sort of brainwash...with hidden subliminal messages. LOL
The secret: JESUS. It's so odd that everything they said on that show
as a Christian, was Christianity and they didn't even know it. The only huge difference is that they believe this huge "secret" is about yourself when we believe it's about Jesus. Instead of looking inward to do all of those things, we look outward and ask God to do those things for us and He never fails to do them. It's really no secret.
Anybody wath The Secret on Oprah.

Any experiences with this.  I am having a great time.

I'm a secret fan, too, but I got pulled away from the end. I have a feeling what's
s
You're right., some things should not be kept secret.
Tell your daughter that you have to inform the other parent, then do it. It's not fair to the other parent to keep this secret. And, don't try to be a friend to your child, just be a parent, which doesn't always mean doing what they want.
The recipe is a secret - sort of!
It's funny. I can make the cole slaw, but there's not really a recipe. And the sour cream, mayo thing was not her usual. She was probably trying to stretch out the mayo. That's my cousin's house, and his mom never had enough mayo on hand! LOL The same with the wine vinegar. Grandmom made sort of a face over it. She used plain white vinegar at her house. The cabbage was always sliced paper thin, by hand. Then onion was grated on one of those plane graters, so that the onion turned pretty much into juice. Then added a splash of vinegar, salt and pepper and stirred it up. Then, in a coffee mug, she sprinkled a bit of sugar on the bottom of the cup, filled it about halfway with mayo, and then thinned that with whole milk or cream until it was the consistency of salad dressing. Then mixed it all together. And not wanting to waste a drop, she always took some of the cabbage, put it into the mug and tried to clean out every drop of the dressing. One coffee mug of this concoction was enough for half a head of cabbage. Her cole slaw leaned more to the sour side with vinegar. It wasn't a sweet cole slaw, at all. She added grated carrots on special occasions, like T-giving, which is when the video was taken.

She was barely 5-feet tall, and shrunk to well under that as she got older. My mother was her firstborn child, and weighed nearly 10 pounds and breech, born at home. Amazing. My Grandmom was one strong lady!
My secret to happiness what something my grandma
told me.

My grandparents were opposites. I asked her on their 50th wedding anniversary how they had been able to stay together so long. She told me this:

You can sacrifice things in your life for the person you love and vice versa. But, if the person loves you and is worth loving, they will not require it of you.
Oh, please...anyone who keeps secrets, secret passwords...
email accounts, etc, shouldn't be trusted. It's not snooping for crying out loud. Any one who doesn't share with their spouse must be ashamed of something or have something to hide. Get rid of him already and move on to a HEALTHY relationship!
Need secret Santa ideas for male.....

Has anyone ever dealt with a legit Secret Shopper company?
I've often thought of doing this, but wonder if there are any legit ones or if they are all scams.
Victoria's Secret models are sooo young!
Does anyone else get Victoria's Secret catalogs, and do you think the models are too young? I just came in from getting my mail, and a new catalog arrived with "New Dream Angels" on the cover. The model is a girl, in my opinion. If that young lady is older than 14 or maybe 16 at the most, I'd be surprised. I'm 46, and I don't expect VS to use middle-aged or elderly models, but it would be nice if they were at least adults!

You've misread. John Assaraf is the Secret theorist who
I'm not talking about her actual killer.

The man who teaches The Secret said that everyone wishes everything that happens to them into their life.

Larry King was skeptical and the man insisted. So, Larry King used this as an example and asked if he believed then, using his own theory, that Jessica Lunsford wished her own torture and murder into her life. John Assaraf said YES.

Brady Bunch. Victoria's Secret or Fruit of the Loom?

I love Body by Victoria (Victoria Secret)
It's the only kind I will buy now, but I don't mind underwires. I love how soft the material is and these have the perfect amount of padding too.
