have you tried pets 911??  their web site is pets911 dot com.  you can post lost or found animals.  the site also has a lot of good info, if you are interested.

i also have taken in many strays found by others to be roaming the streets.  three (two dogs and a cat) have become permanent.  i just feel so heartbroken for them and for you with what you are going through.  i do hope they all settle down for your benefit and that of your other pets!!
