and another version of it is not always greener on the other side of the fence! Well thought out reply and really should make someone stop and think about the consequences of their actions. It seems that too many couples these days view marriage as a "trial basis" type of thing and can just throw it away just like changing a pair of pants whenever something better appears or a little boredom sets in. Your analogy is a good one. I hope she listens.
