Have you tried giving some fluids?
I have a shih tzu with diabetes. When is sick he will get close or under my knees. Listen to him he's trying to say I'm sick. Try feeding him some rice with a little chicken in it, something bland or even canned pumpkin, not the pie filling. Good source of fiber in both diarrhea and constipation for dogs and humans. When mine was sick the other day I got a syringe and would give him grape flavored ProPel water by gatorade, about 1 oz at a time every hour or so and then sooner as long as he kept it down. Just enough to keep from getting to dehydrated. Dogs can go down really fast when dehydrated yet some vets say they can go awhile without food/water. Not if already dehydrated though. I would recommend going on petpeoplesplace.com forum you can get some good advice with people with same breed or problems. They also make something called Rescue Remedy for anxious/nervous dogs you might check into.
Is she tolerating fluids?
If she is, try popsicles. Those help with us. And kids love them.
Full foil and cut - $100 nm

The foil worked! Thank you so much! nm

Doesn't everybody use foil now?
I have never seen the other process done; just heard about it. I'm sure the foil is less physically stressful to the hair.
Chicken in foil - sm

Boneless, skinless chicken breasts pounded a bit thin, place in tin foil, season with Italian spices/herbs, garlic, cover with sliced onion, zucchini, green pepper, a jar of sliced mushrooms, a bit more seasoning, dot with margarine, fold foil tightly, place in a pan, over 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Juices are good on rice.

Can also place all in a 9 x 13 pan, covered tightly with tin foil and baked.

Can vary toppings to your taste - can add shredded mozzarella.

Try putting up some aluminum foil.......sm
to see if that will work. I know that for woodpeckers doing this scares them off. If this doesn't work, iF you have a county extension office office call and ask them what they recommend. Otherwise you can call a wild life preserve in your area for advice.

Good luck!
My cat is afraid of aluminum foil --
but doesn't mind vacuum cleaners, hair dryers, or leaf-blowers!

How about a cooler lined with foil? nm
nm
Wrap them in aluminum foil and put in a
pan as you suggested or, if you have crock pots, you could put them in there on warm. If your kitchen at teh church has an oven, I would wrap them and put them in the oven on warm, and then replace them on the serving table as needed.
is there a difference between foil highlights and pulling through cap sm

I've had both these done to my hair before.  I'm just wondering, does one dry hair out more than the other?  Seems to me when I have highlights done pulled through the cap, my hair seems dry.

Thanks

I was going to try grilling them on aluminum foil. Not sure I could turn them. nm
:
you can wrap them in alu foil and put them into the oven (preheated).....
But then they do not come out crispy, rather soggy, but good, nevertheless.

Not if you are planning on baking
Wax paper will melt wax into your foods if you are baking. That being said, if you are making a cake you can butter the pan, both sides of the wax paper, and place the wax paper on the bottom of the pan wax side down, putting your batter on top.  You can also use wax paper to steam. If you are planning on baking using direct oven heat (where the paper will be exposed directly to the enviornment around it) I would not suggest it.
Baking Stones?
Somebody gave me a brand new baking stone from Pampered Chef. I know people love them but I have never been able to figure out what you do with them except for cooking a frozen pizza... maybe...?

Baking stones
I LOVE my baking stones and use them all the time. The best thing to cook on them at first is something really greasy, like using crescent roll dough and make something with them. They are a greasy dough, so they help season the stone. I have a recipe for veggie pizza that uses the roll mix. The more seasoned your stone is, the better your food turns out. I make pizza, cookies, french fries. ANything that can be baked on a cookie sheet (within reason) can be baked on a stone. It makes killer calzone and pasties. Experiment and have fun with your new stone.
Baking gifts

Do any of you give baked goods during the holidays?  What are some of your favorites?  I get tired of making the same ole bread, cookies, and chocolate covered pretzels every year.

I will say that last year I put peanut butter between 2 Ritz crackers and then covered them in baking chocolate (white and semi-sweet) and they turned out really well.  I put sprinkles on the white ones (they showed up better than on the semi-sweet ones).

Have you tried aluminum foil? Pasted in part of article...
Deterring pets

Aluminium foil is also sometimes used in the training of cats; as cats have an inborn dislike of either the texture or noise caused by sheets of aluminium foil, it is possible to prevent cats from jumping on or otherwise damaging furniture by covering its surfaces.
Applebee's LOL. No cooking just baking.
:)
Try a little bit of baking soda on a washcloth
Just remember that the rubbing may cause a little redness, but i think it will help with the kool-aid.  Been there, done that...
Sprinkle with baking soda and then vacuum
Works wonders.
Just wrap the key in foil and use a blob of silicone from a tube and glue it on. Under blade

Might have him shave pits completely & just use baking soda as

Rub some baking soda or corn starch into him well and brush out? nm

Question. Which oven rack do you normally use when baking meats or what have you. Never sure if
bottom rack is best or middle rack which seems rather far away from the heat.
Baking bread from scratch is hard work, sm
especially for people like us who abuse their hands working. Kneading bread is exhausting!

I have a bread machine and love it. It allows for both bread mixes and scratch ingredients. The bread tastes delicious, too.

Sounds great..Question about baking time/temp..sm

How long do you bake the muffins and at what oven temp?  These sound wonderful & so much easier than making pumpkin bread.   Thanks!

leave it open for about 6-8 hours, seriously. baking soda 3-4 boxes, too. nm
,
You can search for baking mix gifts in Mason jars, too, or some version of those words. nm

Someone posted a recipe for baking chicken in bbq sauce and Italian dressing... SM
Does anyone have that recipe?  I am making chicken tonight and need something that I can throw together and stick in the oven while I'm working.  I haven't cooked in a couple of days and the natives are getting restless for a home cooked meal!
if you cover it, it will be much less dry!! *S*

Try scrub ing/mopping with baking soda and vinegar and keeping windows open as much as possible - nm

HOmeowners may not cover

Sometimes if it is a motorized vehicle it will not be covered under homeowners insurance since you are supposed to have insurance on those independently.  Most of the time boats, motorcycles, scooters, cars are not covered but each policy is different but don't be surprisied if they are not.   Usually it is the home and contents.  Again, I feel for you but if you did not want them stored at your home then your husband should have followed your BIL home to take them off the trailer and see that they are stored in a safe place.  Especially since you know them and describe them as such and they have already had a loss.  But I guess this is a situation in which everyone learns a question, an expensive lesson but a lesson.  Am not sure if you would even win in a court of law as it was not an intentional act and you did not carry insurance on it..  Also with regards to their home owners it might not be covered as it is not theirs.  When my niece was borrowing a computer from me and they had water damage because the computer was mine and not theirs  it was not covered.   Good luck but to me this looks like a no win situation for anyone.

I believe the tip goes to the franchise to cover --sm
the amount of gas prices, etc. I would continue tipping the driver the same amount, if I were you, and no, I would not tip any higher amount on Superbowl Sunday...it is not a holiday. lol.
If it is like my bank they will cover you up to $500 -sm
and you have 3 days to payback the bank, which you already did. You did not have anything bounce, so no one will have notices saying not to accept your checks. The bank will be charging you though for their service of covering for you, so you may need to put in another $100 or so to cover that before Friday, check with the bank. You can probably manage your account on-line, check into it, great way to make sure you don't over draw yourself. I try to keep $1000 in the savings account for such emergencies, also with my bank they will automatically transfer the money in from savings to checking if I do overdraft for no charge since I have the money there.
Just to cover all bases, could she be

I cover mine at 350 and put
a teaspoon of olive oil on the bottom of the pan first.  I happen to use a clear glass or ceramic dish with a tight cover.  It seems they turn out more moist with that type of dish.  I know you don't want to add anything, but I like to sprinkle a dash of salt and pepper on mine and put some finely sliced garlic (not much, a small clove) in the olive oil.  That way the flavor from the garlic circulates around the dish and adds a hint of flavor, but doesn't overwhelm it.  I can't tell you how long to cook it, but I can always tell mine is done just by the way it looks.  It does shrink a good bit.
Did insurance cover this or how much?

Keyboard cover?
Does anybody use a cover on their keyboard (while working).  I dumped tea all over mine the other day, and had to buy a new one.  I always wear the letters off the keys within weeks, and thought maybe a cover would help.  TIA
Implants they do not cover any of the
cost as it is considered cosmetic. The denture they will pay a portion but not much sorry to say!!
I doubt homeowners would cover this, but
to do?  How would the carpet store fix this?  Just wondering....
She's using her tail to cover the delicate
parts, hehehe. That's more than my dogs do, course they have a lot more fur-clothing on.
he needs to be taken out, quietly, under cover of darkness

A "fee" to cover their time.
It's a fee for the time they took calling the police and looking at video tapes. The probation officer said that stores rarely do it but that they can. I guess we're just extra special.

We go before a special youth council next week....and revisit with his doctor about the Respirdal and the hair pulling, etc...
You can never judge a book by its cover, can you? sm
Simply amazing.  Gave me goose bumps.  Her voice is pure joy.  Love it every time I hear it!!!
Obviously didn't cover many details in a post.
I am not emotionally selfish. Heavens. And I am a Believer, while they are not. I am an animal lover, not above humans. But when I have gotten together with my family in the past, they have chosen those visits to ridicule my family and our love of animals - family get-togethers were nothing more than lets bash the youngest over her love for her animals. Its a bigger picture than I am comfortable to explain here - basically even covers the hunting versus anti-hunting personalities, etc. I have never ever pushed my philosophy on them - its always been vice versa. As an animal lover, I can sense disdain when I am around others who are not as close as family, but who believe animals are worthless - the old dog belongs outside in a dog house philosophy, or the only good cat is a dead one. We can discern these types and I would certainly rather not spend my time in their presence. While you are feeling the need to explain that you don't disapprove of your mother and her choices, your whole theme has honestly been one of disapproval of her and her choices. You don't need to speak those words to her. She can discern your real feelings, but perhaps you are not discerning your mother's. Just a thought from one Biblical Christian to another.
Dr. Phil DID cover this very topic a few months ago...
and there was a guy who supposedly went to Africa and needed all this money to eat, get out of prison, get home to see this woman he was chatting with and told he loved so much.  She fell for the whole thing until Dr. Phil exposed the whole story on his show and had other women there who had also fallen for this guy and sent him money.  I don't know if you can get a DVD of the show or not, but it might be worth it to try.
Did insurance cover prophylactic mastectomies? (NM)
dd
no, nobody knows but the bank, they will cover checks you wrote

I bought Cover Girl's and I love it too
In time I'm sure all the cosmetic companies will have this type of make up.
