and I do still think it is serious, what she did. To openly defy her mother is very very serious and possibly dangerous. She was not where she was supposed to be and I am sure that there were reasons she was told not to go. While my answer might not be the best, the poster did ask what we would each do. I simply stated what I would do and think that it is a little unfair to ask if I am a cop or a parent. Just because it is not your way (or mine, for that matter) does not make it wrong. What you can bet on is that my children behave better than most, perhaps because I am fairly strict. If I feel strongly enough to tell my children not to do something, I expect them not to do it.
