There is confusion since the names are so similar, but this polygamist group in the news has not been connected to the mainstream Mormon church in over 100 years. There are big differences between the two, but that is not the point of this discussion thread.

Stop making excuses. Either live with his rules, or stand up for yourself. You're a human being, he doesn't OWN you.

The ex-Mormon can say whatever she wants
but that doesn't make it fact. The girl in question, who has not even been found, was supposedly 16 years old. Yet, again, the facts are not clear. Let's wait and see what the investigation uncovers.
