The reason it takes so long to do my job, as I originally posted, is due to faulty software provided by my company constantly crashing on me, freezing up, not letting me log in, etc. My performance has not suffered, and if I did not have these issue, I would enjoy being an MT much, much more. I am not paid hourly, but production pay of 5 cpl for speech recognition, or 7 cpl for text, both equally about $1300 to $1400 a month. I have 4 years experience, I should be making more than 7 cpl.
