Missed tonights show - who got evicted?
For all Big Brother tv fans. On Wednesday
night at 8 p.m. the all star show will start. They will be announcing 20 old candidates total, a few contestants from each year. We get to vote on who we want in the house when it starts in July.

I hope he doesn't get voted back in either because worse than Eric
is CRAZY Ivette. I LOVE Howie and want him to win. Nobody else but Howie has entertained me on this show. So cute and funny when he pretended he was going to kiss Beau. W/O Howie, I can't watch it even if Kaysar comes back. Don't like that entire Cappy groupie scene. Do you think CBS will bring back a firefighter hero instead of an Iraq guy for ratings though? I know we are supposed to decide but I doubt that is true in the end.

I worked in-house in Florida and we made a base of 14 (this was back from 1997 to 2000), with $1 per hour more for everything over 500 lines per day to a top of 18.00 per hour PLUS 8 cpl for anything after 1000 lines per day. I made 1300 biweekly take home plus another 1500. monthly bonus. You could get up and stretch, talk to coworkers, etc. Now the circulation in my legs is shot, my hands are nearly non functional, and for nothing!

given the chance. I re-read my previous post to you and I sounded like a b*tch and I wanted to apologize. You sound like a very positive person who takes criticism and not so pleasant advice very diplomatically.
If your problems with your boss are more of a personal nature, rather than the quality or quantity of your work, I would maybe go over her head. You already have an adversarial relationship with her anyway, so why not get it on record that you feel she is treating you unfairly? Or maybe confront her yourself? I would probably do the latter. I'm not someone that can bite my tongue which probably explains why I work by myself at a computer all day rather than in customer service! 
Just an FYI, I actually am starting an in-house MT job at a hospital tomorrow! I've decided that if they try to lay me off in favor of outsourcing, I'm just going to refuse. I'm going say "nope, I'm sorry, I refuse to be laid off. I'm going to get back to work now." I wonder what they would do?

I went back in house and love it. I love not being
secluded. I was working in my PJs, less organized and feel much better now that I get up and dress for work and see people (even those in traffic aren't so bad anymore). I find that I have more of a life now, and my family says that I spend more time with them now.
Working at home served its purpose for a long time; I was ready to go out into the world again now that I have no little ones at home.
I voted for Kaysar also.
There is something wrong with all those people who are hooked on Eric in the house-like a cult or something. I didn't think there was anything special about him-in fact I thought he was rather bossy and daddy-like, trying to tell everyone what to do. I like Kaysar and I don't really think he was going to hit Ivette or anything, she basically acused him of some harsh things and sort of came at him like a man would so he reacted like a man and she deserved it I thought.
I don't think it was the Christianity that got her voted off. I
really believed she had an off night with that country song. My DH thought I was nuts. I wish I had recorded Tuesday night when I told him after the show that my bottom 3 were Taylor, Bucky and Mandisa. Bucky lacks verbal articulation to make it. Mandisa and Taylor both just had a bad night, in my opinion. Of course, you will notice that of my bottom 3 only 1 was right. I really liked her too and can't wait for her CD.

That's 1 reason why I voted for Obama -
stay in this business is if the tax breaks are ended and the loopholes closed for companies that outsource what used to be good American jobs. Ending offshoring entirely would be nice, but I doubt it'll happen. But it should cost less for companies to hire American workers at a decent, livable wage, than it does to send it offshore. Offshoring should be something they do in a pinch, not as a standard practice. Yeah, so what if they're making more money the way they're doing it now. Doesn't make it right. They're greedy and they're un-American when they put thousands of hard-working American MT's in the poorhouse, or out of a job.

I don't know what politics has to do with my post. I only posted that I greatly increased my personal line rate per hour with sitting my butt down and actually doing my work and not finding other little things to do.
Yes, there are days when I want to pull my hair out with my ESLs and there are days when everything flows just fine. I am in the same boat as everyone else as an MT. And the things you are mentioning are beyond your control - I was increasing my line count with the one thing that is within my control - staying seated and typing.

It is a fairly new computer so it probably has more than one. It vents through the side through a long slotted vent the entire length of the computer. I'm going to try the canned air from Wall-Mart to see if that helps.

I've missed a few episodes as it just wasn't pulling me in like in the past. I love Sally Field and remembered she was guess starring and turned it on but 1/2 hour into the show. But now I'm lost! What happened to Sam? And is Luka leaving?

I heard that it is good to also have the ones they make to go under the laptop. The laptop sits on it and plugs into your USB port and it runs that way.
computer fans
I had a noisey fan on my computer, filled with dust. Computer tech told me every month to dust the back of the tower and make sure that the fan does not have dirt/dust on it. He did this with computer unplugged and then he took a little vacuum and vacuumed the fan off of dust. Of course if you have cats in the house or dogs, that makes it worse. Hope this might help you as a simple solution, otherwise needs to be replaced.

Can I just say that I LOVE this show!!! I think it is so funny and well-written. Steve Carell is perfect in that role, and all the characters seem to be perfectly cast. You gotta love Dwight! This is my favorite show to come along in quite a while! My husband and I both laugh out loud, and not too many shows do that to you anymore.

Amazing Race Fans?
 Anyone as big of an AMAZING RACE fan as me??? I'm loving the hippies on this season. I'd like to see them win, but I worry that the frat boys will take the winnings. Mo Jo probably won't make it to the final 3!!! Then again, Ray and Yolanda have a good chance on getting the million too! They have played fair and are so competitive. It wouldn't suprise me if they ended up with the winnings!! Tune in Wednesday to see.

I would normally mark that off to sour grapes, but there were quite a few people all saying that when they called his number, her voice came on saying "thank you for voting for me" and a few said they thought they dialed wrong so checked again and redialed only to get her voice again.
A few people are saying that Ryan announced the wrong no. for Chris, but that's not true, I guess. Some people got through fine on his line, but others got Katharine's, almost as though some lines got crossed. However, Fox has not addressed this and so far, it is merely the word of these fans so I highly doubt they will do anything about it, and I doubt even more that they would bring Chris back over it. They'd have to have some kind of proof that the lines were crossed and since other people got through just fine, I don't see how they could.
I loved Chris and am sorry he's gone, but we haven't heard the last of him and he's probably better off not being tied down with AI to have to make CDs that they want him to make. I think that would be hard for him to have to record a CD full of bubblegum music when he loves rock so much.
All you fans of the government must be from one o' them RED states..........
