It is really scary what is happening with this EMR situation. I know some that have gone EMR and still use transcriptionists as before, but many more do not! I am an employee for a HUGE cardiology practice that have multiple offices. They are phasing in EMR one office at a time and it is not pretty! I have about two months left and then my job is GONE! For me, it definitely works out better for me to work at home right now. If I can buy another year-and-a-half or so, I guess I will have to work out of the home to be able to find a job! I was just curious as to how many others are dealing with this same issue.
